This three bedroom house sleeps 7 and is located on a quiet bush block with a large bush garden amid farms on a peaceful country road.

The house is well equipped and very suitable for children. There is a high chair and porta-cot. This is byo sheets and bath towels.

The house is connected to the NBN with 50MBs speed. There is Apple TV if you want to access streaming services.

There are two decks-one a large north facing deck and one smaller south facing deck.

There is a bedroom with a queen bed, a further bedroom with a double bed, and three singles, two of which are bunks. There is also a trundle bed under one of the bunks.

The house is approximately 1.5 km from the Red Hill South supermarket and Epicurean along a quiet gravel road. There are many wineries within a few minutes drive and Point Leo beach is 6 minutes drive away.

Summary: This property has lovely picture windows, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of dry prepared timber for the wood fire. The decks were not really used due to the weather, although the front deck timbers did not feel as safe to walk on in a couple of spots. The rear deck would be bathed in sunshine if weather was good. In winter, the driveway was quite muddy and due to the steep drive we were concerned about getting bogged in the car. We did appreciate the looped driveway which normally would have made it easy to drive right through. Seating was good with couches, armchairs, however, maintenance is required to fix the seats properly to the legs on a couple of kitchen chairs. I pinched a finger badly on one of them when pulling it in to the table. For us the biggest let down was the master bedroom which had what looked like wallpaper that had been painted over, peeling off the walls in numerous places. There was also a musty, damp smell that was not very inviting in the bedrooms. The smell may not be noticeable in summer, but the peeling wallpaper would be. The bathroom is a bit unusual. There is one shower over a bath and then back to back with that is another separate shower which has good water pressure but is small. There is no mains water, tank only and the toilets run on a septic system, things to consider especially in the summer months. Lockdown was imposed the day after we arrived so we were somewhat restricted. Miranda did contact us by text to provide a number of walks we could still do, so that was helpful. It is about a 15-20min walk down a gravel/dirt road to the local shops. We enjoyed the Red Hill Bakery and visited the Cellar and Pantry, both provide excellent coffee. The surrounds do make you feel as though you're away from suburbia which was lovely.

Summary: My sister and I were itching for a little getaway out of the city, so decided to head to Miranda’s property in Red Hill. We had such a wonderful time and it was exactly what we needed. The fireplace made the whole trip! We will definitely be back!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Red Hill. Great house for our needs - good location near stores but far enough away to be a peaceful break. We especially loved the wood heater over what was a chilly weekend. Would recommend for families.

Summary: Lovely stay and very pleasant experience to book and communicate with host. Beautiful country surrounds, feels like you are hours away from conveniences but just a short drive away. The house is very large and loved the well equipped kitchen. Thank you very much.

Summary: The property manager was amazing! Very quick on the communication and helped us out with any enquiry we had. The house was fantastic, very clean, with 2 great entertaining areas, and incredibly close to the Red Hill cafes and shops. Will definitely be returning to this property next time we are in the Mornington area!

Summary: The place was so much bigger than it looked in the photos. Very central to Redhill. We had a brilliant time and would stay again. Miranda was great to deal with.

Summary: Spacious, warm and with simple appointments. The place had everything we needed. Light the fire and kick back with a wine on the deck enjoying the warm sun in winter. Conveniently close to shops and of course the wineries made it easy to get a great taste of the surrounds and local product, food and wine. Extremely enjoyable, private and comfortable. Nothing much more we needed and for us was an excellent stay. Cheers
