Summary: My wife and I recently spent 2 months at Coral Beach. The owner was terrific working out pre-trip details and responsive to any questions we had while there. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The property was always very well maintained, the pool and restaurant/bar on the beach was terrific and the people that worked there were all very nice and professional. Sun bathing and walking the sandy beach there was also quite nice. Proximity to the Lucaya Marketplace for retail shopping and other bars and restaurants made it fun.

Summary: We just returned home after spending 3 weeks at this great vacation condo on Coral Beach. The condo was tasteful, nicely decorated and really comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy, and very well-supplied with cookware and dishes... great for us since we ate most of our meals on the balcony--what a view! And what a gem of a place! The owner was easy to work with and helpful in every way. Wonderful beach, location, Lucaya Marketplace down the road... Sure hope we can come again.

Summary: I very much enjoyed my stay at the Coral Beach Hotel! Steve was very helpful throughout the booking process and was very prompt in responding to my inquiries. The listing, photos and location were very accurate. I liked that there were two security doors to get through before you reached the elevator. The unit was neat, clean and well appointed. I didn't want for anything - the kitchen was fully stocked, ample linens, beach towels and some cleaning supplies which were much appreciated. The beach where the hotel is located is beautiful! The pool and bar are very inviting. The unit is a 20 minute walk to the Port Lucaya Market place where there are lots of shops and good restaurants. There is a public bus stop right near the unit so we took advantage of the inexpensive transportation - $1.25 for a ride to the market place! I went scuba diving with UNEXSO right at the port and it's a great operation. We also went on a blue hole adventure with Shamie of Calabash Ecoadventures and it was awesome! Grand Bahama is a beautiful island with many fun activities.

Summary: My wife and i stayed at this 1 bedroom unit at Coral Beach in November 2011 and the interior was well decorated and very comfortable. Kitchen is modern and equipped with many useful cooking, eating and drinking items. The view to the beach on the roomy balcony was very much enjoyed in the early mornings and evenings. The dining/living room is modern, well decorated and very comfortable. Nice large flat screen TV with good reception. The bedroom and bathroom were both clean and well decorated. Access directly to the beach from Coral Beach is easy and close with a great pool & public restaurant at beach side. The beach area is generous & friendly with plenty of shaded areas if desired and lots of deep beach from the ocean to the entrance to the property. If you enjoy walking the beach sands you'll love a fun and easy walk either direction. We used the wireless internet and great success with it. Parking in the lot was protected and you are only about 15 minutes from the airport, a very easy drive. You are only about 3/4 mile walk to the Lycayan Shopping and Dining market or a 10 minute drive and it has many shops and restaurants to enjoy. Don't miss stopping for a beer or fish sandwich at Billy Joe's on your walk to the Lucaya market place. We plan to come back to this propery in the future due to its convenience and good condition.

The beach/pool is only steps outside your door. The uncrowded beach is beautiful and goes on for miles. The pool area has a quaint beach bar and serves the most delicious food, some nights there is live entertainment there as well. Markets and shopping are close by. Port Lucaya at night is where everything happens and that is only 10 minutes away.The front desk staff are always eager to assist in any way needed. The security staff is always on duty and ready to assist if needed as well. This complex is also very family orientated.

Summary: So very clean. The decor was a contempory but yet beachie. There was more than enough supplies all over very clean towels to kitchen supplies. I have stayed at a great number of hotels and time shares in gb as well as condos in even the same building.THE SUNRISE FROM THE CONDO IS BREATH TAKING. I have pictures of an island tree with red blooms. There were plenty nearby just accenting te sub as it arose I can honestly say that this has been the most enjoyable stay. The owner was very open and communicative. He even called to see if everything was ok on arrival. Planning on going back and renting this property in aug what does that tell you? What a get deal !!!!! thanks Steve

Summary: We loved our stay May 9 - May 19th, 2010. Location is perfect with a short 15 min drive from airport. The kitchen was updated and there was plenty of hot water, air conditioning, spacious double queens in bedroom with walk in closet and tv. The balcony had a nice view of the ocean and there was washer and dryer right outside in the hallway. The property is beautifully maintained with pool and small outdoor restaurant and beautiful beach, and is just a short 5 minute drive away to Port Lucaya with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and watersports available. The owner Steve Pierce was very helpful answering all of our questions promptly. We highly recommend this property for a great vacation!

Summary: We just returned from a terrific week in the Bahamas. The owners of this unit are responsive and attentive. Another positive note: LOVELY furniture and appliances. View is nice but you cannot actually see the beach, just the ocean beyond, which was still nice to sit on the balcony and watch parasailing and boating. The walk to the beach bar and swimming pool and beach access was nice and had been upgraded with lovely plants. Also, the front office/desk crew were terrific. Security was present at all times; we enjoyed having a small convenience store onsite, as well as hair salon, exercise facilities, and attentive and friendly staff. It is a short walk up and down the beach but warnings were posted everywhere about NOT walking after dark. Forget a short walk to the nearest grocery - signs warn against that - so expect to rent a car or taxi. We rented a car for 3 days for shopping and touring. DO ask ahead of time about construction and renovation. This unit is 2 doors from an end unit getting a serious remodel (windows and doors, etc) and the drilling and hammering lasted all day every day (except Sunday)-from 8 AM until 6 PM on some days. Nothing we nor the owner could do about it but just know that the facilities are in some disrepair around the property as there are constant upgrades happening. The pool and patio deck where the great beach bar/restaurant is located was also being drilled and recoated and that was disappointing - not a peaceful getaway. Ask before you book to see if there are major events planned. Calling the complex directly is a good idea. Individual negatives in this unit are - ceiling crumbles over one bed from prior damages - the popcorn ceiling dust fell daily; the living room drapes were losing clips each time we opened or closed them, and the bedroom drapes don't close tightly. The owners were alerted to the conditions and it was a little disappointing to be told "oh, we knew about that and will take care of it when we visit again". Wish we had been told as we felt it was a little less in quality than we're used to. Although charged a hefty fee for cleaning, the housekeeper didn't check the dishes, glasses and utensils and small appliances (toaster oven and stove burners) for cleanliness - we had to wash all that we planned to use as they were quite dirty - foodstuff on everything. We didn't use the oven or toaster oven as a result. Overall, we feel it was a nice but noisy.
