Positive: The location is superb! Amazing view from the pool, the rooms and the balcony, and the place has its own small private beach (not the best to go for a swim but beautiful non the less). The rooms are big, well lighted, with comfortable beds and each room has its own bathroom, plus one toilet in the living room. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. The pool is not deep but very big, with amazing sea view and good sitting area. The balcony downstairs is also very comfortable with many sitting options. There are two barbecues, one near the pool and one in the balcony. The owner was available online and had his people in town to help if needed.

Negative: The maintenance isn’t always the best - some loose bricks in the pool, some small electricity issues. In general the place was clean but some some places lacked recent attention. However, it is expected for such a big property in this price range. Note that there are many stairs inside the house, so maybe not the best choice for older or disabled people.

Positive: Stratigically chosen for Sea View in the front with Pine Forest covered mountain over the road at the rear - direct access to mountain walks as well as sea & sunset views certainly met our expectations! A further issue in our choice is the layout of marble surround showers with "glass" splash partitions and not shower-curtains...

Negative: There was nothing not to like...

Positive: It’s all about the views. The most stunning sunsets from the pool area. Plus, the 4 ensuite bedrooms make it very comfortable for groups/couples.

Positive: Exceptional place. Beautiful location, nice and comfy rooms. We enjoyed swimming pool and sitting areas outside. All room have see view. Stunning private beach and lots of fish to see when snorkeling. Would come back or recommend at any time.

Negative: I have no complaints just few suggestions. Microwave would be nice to have. Also portable umbrella with couple inflatable or light weight chairs. I would love to stay longer at beach below villa but we didn't had umbrella or portable chair/recliner to take there.

Positive: The situation of the villa is fantastic. It is a large building, although it is actually a semi-detached property as the next door is a derelict building, We liked the infinity pool, the outdoor spaces, the private beach. We enjoyed making use of the barbecue facilities. The main living space is enormous and the artwork was fun. We also liked the spaciousness of the bedrooms.

Negative: The poor housekeeping of this property and the lack of any form of communication once we arrived from the hosts are what were a let down of this property. We messaged several times over some issues. While most of the property was clean the dishwasher had clearly never ever been cleaned, it had visible "stalactites" of bacteria deposits and limescale. This meant that we did not trust the cleanliness of any of the cutlery and crockery and had to wash it by hand on our first night. The owner saw the message as they sent someone to attempt to clean the dishwasher, but there was no contact, or apology. We also pointed out problems with the electrics, bulbs blown, not working, entire bank of electrics in kitchen not working. The lights on the roof not working, and no pool lights working. There was broken chairs round the side of the property that hadn't been replaced, which mean there weren't enough outdoor dining chairs for the number of guests. These are all things that should be rectified by better housekeeping if you wanting to rent a property for holiday lets. You shouldn't expect guests to have to complain / deal with these issues. The property is advertised as a luxury villa, but it is not being kept to this standard, which is a shame.

Positive: The location is perfect if you like the nice and quiet family type of vacation. Actually, the whole Pomos area is like this. You need a car (as everywhere in Cyprus). Very good pool and easy approach to the sea. take a time and do some hiking (it starts right next to the house). You will enjoy views, almonds, figs and mangos (growing along your path). But wake up and go with the sun. Paradise beach is definitely worth visiting (however it is not so close as it is written in the description - look for parking and the modern square brown villa).

Negative: When you are paying this amount of money, you definitely don't expect to meet the cheap, hardly damaged teflon pans to cook on. Also, you don't expect that you will have to buy and refill the soap and the toilet paper. Towels should be replaced, long time ago. And the ants, small ants around the house in very unexpected areas (like your closet), so don't leave anything that might attract them, otherwise, they will come for it.
