Summary: The property was nice over all. Owner was in contact all the time wanting to know if we needed anything or if we were happy. The Check in was really easy and quick. The only thing I did not care for was the Huge Plant in the living room because it was really dusty, otherwise it was really nice and pleasant to stay at and I would recommend it highly .

Summary: The rental was ideal for our family of 8 adults to attend our grand daughter’s college graduation fromThe College of Southern Maryland. The kitchen was well equipped with every dish, glass and utensil you could want. The owner was very responsive to any message made through VRBO., I would highly recommend this rental.

Summary: Beautiful rental in Southern Maryland, located on very open and private farm land directly adjacent to the Patuxent river. A huge home with spectacular décor, it comes stocked with everything you'll need for your stay, whether 1 night or 1 month! My party enjoyed their time at the house as much as (more than?) their time at the event we attended. Forget hotels. If you want a great lodging experience for your trip to SOMD, this is the home to rent. Very conveniently located, only about 6 miles to Hughesville or Prince Frederick shopping centers.

Summary: My husband and his brothers stayed at the property for a race in Mechanicsville, MD. The owners were more than welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house was well kept and very clean for their stay.

Summary: My friends and I had a fantastic stay here and were able to find absolutely everything we needed. These hosts were extremely reasonable and communicative and really made sure we had a great stay - Quinten took the time to give us a quick tour which was very helpful. Overall a gorgeous home and a wonderful host!

Summary: Spacious, welcoming and comfortable home with very well stocked cupboards, pantry and laundry room. Very comfortable beds with high end sheets and towels. Quentin made extra efforts to help me find parks and trails in the area. Also, the lawn was very overgrown when we arrived as the landscapers didn’t mow as he expected—-Quentin responded and corrected the situation promptly. The dock is too high to launch kayaks or paddle boards but there is an easy launch site just off of the opposite side of the bridge. As Quentin warned, there were jelly fish in the river so we were careful.. A few things to note: the deck, backyard and dock can use some attention/TLC. But we were able to enjoy the yard all week and the river views from the house are beautiful. The bath towels and washcloths were high-end and plentiful but, we could have used a few hand towels and dish drying towels. There were a few disposable hand towels in the bathrooms but no hand or dish towels. There is no closet or dresser space available. Each bedroom has a rolling rack and plastic drawer set. Worked fine….just a few things that might be good to know. All in all, a beautiful home, attentive host and a great week! Oh, best spot for ice cream —Mrs Moos at Spider Farm!
