Blue Palms is directly on the beach on the Atlantic side of Eleuthera in North Palmetto Point. Our 4 bedroom home has all NEW ENSUITE BATHROOMS for your comfort and privacy.
BEDROOM BREAKDOWN:
#1 - North MASTER BEDROOM w/ NEW ENSUITE bathroom with double vanities and walk in shower, king size bed, both bedroom and bathroom have gorgeous ocean views,
#2 - South MASTER BEDROOM w/ NEW ENSUITE bathroom with double vanities and walk in shower, king size bed, gorgeous ocean views
#3 - BEDROOM with king size bed w/ NEW ENSUITE bathroom with double vanities, walk in shower and garden views
#4 - BEDROOM with 2 twin size beds, bathroom with double vanities, shower, garden and ocean views
Also NEW are two separate, shaded Bahama-style porches. The front porch very private and well away from the road. It is surrounded by lush, tropical flowers which, attract hummingbirds and has 4 comfortable rocking chairs.
The back (ocean side) covered porch allows panoramic views of the beautiful, aqua ocean waters and is outfitted with dining furniture and new Pottery Barn lounge seating. Either porch is ideal for morning coffee or evening cocktails, for finding the sunny spot or cool shade depending to the time of day.
Enjoy our 12' X 24' INFINITY EDGE in-ground, beach front pool with large SUN SHELF. The pool is HEATED to 85 degrees in the winter months (Mid November to Mid April). New Chaise lounge chairs, umbrellas and poolside dining table complete the pool patio area. A lighted, paved walkway leads to the beachfront shaded cabana and the beach. The pink sand beach is 50 yards from the house and is over 2 plus miles long, great for walking, shelling, and collecting "sea glass" and other beach treasures. The warm, turquoise ocean has numerous coral reefs just a few feet offshore - perfect for snorkeling! A shaded bamboo sunning deck/cabana overhangs the beach. From this elevated location we have seen rays, turtles, barracudas, dolphins and other fish swimming by. A hammock ensures relaxation, and our two- two person kayaks will enable you to explore the numerous reefs just offshore. The house has all the amenities you need: a newly installed generator connected to whole house CENTRAL AIR conditioner, a flat screen TV and newly installed StarLInk internet and TV connection.
A new, large Stainless steel gas grill built into a tiled outside bar/serving counter , purified in-sink drinking water in all faucets, a fully equipped kitchen (with microwave, coffeemakers, both Mr. Coffee and Keurig single serve, ice maker, blender and ice crusher) and all the comforts of home: hair dryers, linens, towels, DVDs, books, games and 4 beach chairs, beach coolers & beach umbrellas.
All bedrooms have room cooling ceiling fans. Shower outside "En plein air" under our two separate but private, bamboo enclosed structures, both having wonderful views of the sky, gorgeous ocean and varied tropical plants and palms trees. Enjoy a quiet and private spot to relax on our new Bahamian style front porch with wooden rocking chairs and natural accent tables. View the lush landscaping featuring a
varied assortment of native, colorful tropical plants.
Also, this property is one single home with the pool for the rentals guests only. There is no sharing of the pool with other guests. Neither the caretaker nor the owner are present on the property during your stay.
** Both new bathrooms are easy access with a "no-curb" shower entrance.
Groceries can be stocked before your arrival by contacting our caretaker. Also a local chef can either cook or deliver Bahamian style meals.

Summary: We had a wonderful week at Blue Palms with our 3 sons (ages 21-25). This was our 7th trip to the island but our first time in North Palmetto Point. We normally do a lot of exploring of island but this location was so beautiful and relaxing with the beach and the pool right there that we found ourselves just hanging out at the house. The boys loved taking out the kayak and snorkeling right off the beach. We have not stayed at the same house twice before but definitely would stay at Blue Palms again:)

Summary: Blue Palms was the perfect, most relaxing vacation any of us have ever had. The house is gorgeously decorated, the furnishing very comfortable. The front porch rocking chairs were used daily despite thinking we would never sit on that side of the house. So homey rocking on the porch. The pool is just the right size and the water temp in Jan was perfect. The pink powder sand on the beach in front of the house is beautiful. Overall, this is a perfect vacation location and home.

Summary: If you have the opportunity to stay at Blue Palms, take it! The house is set up perfectly and everything has been considered ... from beach chairs/towels to snorkel masks, guide books and coolers. Kitchen is fully stocked to cook at home with great heavy duty pans and blender for frozen drinks. Bedrooms and bathrooms terrific - all thoughtfully arranged with storage for clothes. Great artwork throughout house! Layout is well thought out with central big room inside and loads of hang out spaces outside. Front porch if it's windy, back veranda with table and lots of seating, pool area with table and many lounge chairs, cabana with chairs, hammock ... really, we were impressed! We used one of the kayaks to go snorkeling off the beach - saw loads of fish. This property is a gem! Host is very responsive with communication. Honestly, there's no need to look further. We hope to be back!

Summary: We had an excellent stay! The property is beautiful and well presented. There was plenty of space for the six adults who stayed there. The pool and surrounding pool area were nice for hanging out and good for use when the beach was a bit windy or the waters were rough. The back patio was very nicely set up for sitting and drinking coffee each morning. The house was well provisioned with items needed in the kitchen, along with the bedding and towels for our use. We would definitely recommend this home to others and stay there again ourselves.

Summary: Eletheura itself is remote and doesn't have the same conveniences we have in the US. For example, the electricity is very unstable. However, this house has a generator that worked flawlessly and other than a very short outage (seconds) it wasn't an issue with this house each time the electricity went out. The pool was very nice and clean, great outdoor furniture, very nice stretch of beach, well equipped kitchen. Not much else I could have asked for. There's a farmer's market a short distance away on Queen's Hwy that is a great place to do most of your grocery shopping. Ten Bay beach is very nice for snorkeling and calmer waters.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay overall. We had 2 issues. One is the generator would not work properly when power went out. Seems to me the generator may be undersized. The other issue we had is an intruder broke into the house at 4 am with all of us in the house. I would advise everyone to be aware of your surroundings and make sure you use the wood wedges to secure all of the sliding glass doors! The police response and the caretakers response we great! Police was there within 15 mins of calling them. Then another group of officers came later that morning. Response time from the caretakers were awesome as well.

Summary: We had a great week at Blue Palms. The house was perfect for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to cook family meals on the nights we decided to stay in. The pool/ beach front combo was a hit with our crew and the water was crystal clear. The location was private but also convenient to other beaches and sights on the island. Checking in was a breeze! We would definitely stay here again.
