Positive: This was our first trip to Vis, the island my husband's grandparents emigrated from nearly 120 years ago. Anela went above and beyond to welcome us and to help us find information about our family history. One night, she even took us to see the church where his great-grandparents married as well as houses that were once part of the family. She recommended a bakery (Viski Cvit) that made traditional sweets that older family members had made and tracked down a song from childhood memories. If her hospitality wasn't enough, the apartment is spacious and comfortable. We loved having coffee by the sea every morning and taking a moment to rest and read there before dinner every afternoon. Having a bathroom on both floors was a bonus, as was having a washing machine. Such a comfortable set up. Perfect for a week. The apartment is convenient to the main part of Vis and its shops and restaurants, however, there are several lovely restaurants in Kut (both on the sea and with quiet courtyards) that are only a few minutes walk. We had terrific dinners at Vatrica, Restron Pojoda, Boccadoro, Val 2.0, Villa Kaliopa, and Lola.

Negative: I would caution travelers who have difficulty with stairs as the apartment is up a flight and on two levels.

Summary: Our first trip to Vis was magical, and Anela made it even more so. We will definitely be back!

Positive: I loved everything about the apartment! The views, the amenities, the bed, the location, the hosts. It was perfect for my partner and I, gave us a great base to explore from and a cosy retreat at the end of a long day. We were fortunate to meet our hosts on our last night and they were so welcoming and lovely. Would recommend staying here and I hope to return soon!

Positive: Comfortable flat in the heart of Vis located between the sea and main walking street. Its well equipped- in the kitchen and bathroon you can find everything - like at home. Can use host’s private sunbeds to relax after swimming. The host- Anela- is very cordial and interesting person- reacting quickly for our needs or questions- can read english version of her book with Vis stories in the apartament and buy it in Octopus gallery- worth reading. Hope to come back soon

Negative: You better call Anela until you park your car in the area- easy to get the fine… She will explain where its legal and where its not…😁
