Spacious & relaxed... from the lawn to the beach with an estuary directly behind. The house features 5 bedrooms (4 beach front, plus large studio sleepout) & comfortably sleeps 12 people - easily large enough for several families to share, and the fenced 1/4 acre section (off road up long driveway) allows for plenty of parking space and privacy. Guests walk into this two level home with everything tastefully decorated and provided for. Double glazed ranch sliders feature in the beach front bedrooms, all with lovely ocean views.
This very popular beach house is the perfect place for your next holiday... comfortable and spacious with spectacular views. Gather together for long summer days of swimming, kayaking, fishing, beach cricket & BBQs.
The spacious sun-drenched rooms and decks surrounded by uninterrupted sea views ensure you slow down, rejuvenate and relax.
Pukehina hosts two local shops for last-minute items, our local establishments: “The Store” for dairy, takeaways and licenced cafe serving great coffee, fish & chips and a great selection of groceries or “The Hippy Pipi” Bar and Restaurant and diary/takeaways/bottle store for entertainment or a game of pool.
Pukehina is an untouched paradise with local activities that comprise of a tennis club, golf, surf club with red flags for swimming, surfing, paddle boarding, boating and fishing clubs.
Centrally located, we are just a 15 minutes drive to Te Puke (past the golf club), 30 minutes to Mt Maunganui and Tauranga (via toll road), or 40 minutes to Rotorua and Whakatane, on excellent roads. If you need to refuel the boat or car, BP is just 5 minutes away. Perfect for: tourists to discover the Central North Island, family holidays/celebrations, groups of friends, romantic getaways, corporate retreats.
Check in time is 3pm and checkout time is 10am (unless by prior arrangement).
Linen supplied (this is charged as an additional charge on your invoice (please enquire if you wish to bring your own linen)
A $300 security deposit is held for this property and will be returned to you following inspection by property manager after your departure. (usually 7 working days after stay)
*Please use beach access which is in front of property & keep to the marked path. We ask that you do not walk on the dunes at the front of the house as there is coastal dune restoration in process.

Summary: It’s really hard to rate the property. Good ones: Great scenery out of the window; amazing beach just in front, sufficient space for a big group of 13. Regrettable point: The hot water heater is not enough for a group of 13, I finished the shower in cold water. Maybe a note could be added to the instructions to remind the large group. The heating facilities in rooms are old and not working well. At last, I really need to thank Sara who provide the strong support when we “luckily” suffered the unexpected power outage during the weekend. Thank you!

Summary: This house was perfect for our 3 families. 13 of us in total including 7 teens. Beach right outside the door so no need to go far for a swim. Took a boat but bar to rough to take out so the kids (and men) enjoyed surf casting instead (but no fish). So close to the Mount and Papamoa so had a couple of days out and about. The little dairy was well stocked. Would definately go again with a big group so much space.

Summary: Jody was an amazing host as always. the house looks to have been renovated with new hard flooring in living areas and new carpet throughout. house was amazingly clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. would highly recommend. the views are to die for and so much space for everyone.

Summary: Words can't explain the beauty of the sunrise from all the rooms in the main house. Stay was wonderful and we loved being there every minute. Both the adults and children enjoyed being there and the beach was right next to the house. We would have extended the stay if few of us didn't have other plans. Good amenities and enough linen. Adequate dryer and washing lines. Since we were around 12 people, two things to mention: once few of them takes shower, no hot water left for the remaining people. Rubbish bag wasn't enough (considering 12 people staying for 2 nights) and we ended up buying black rubbish bags and took to our own place. Bu these two things didn't stop us from having loads of fun. We are glad that the property manager was kind, very accommodating and allowed a little bit late check out due to no hot shower (immediate response to our request). We would definitely visit again and it has now become one of our favourite places.
