Summary: If your large multi-generational family needs a private, white sand, warm water, ankle deep wave beach, close to the best little towns on MD’s & VA’s Eastern Shore and situated on the most magnificent Bay in the world, don’t search further, this is your vacation home. The house, and all it’s numerous indoor and outdoor amenities, was clean and functional. The beach, however, is stunning and all yours. Yours to swim until your skin is pruney. Yours to build whimsical sand castles and evening bonfires. Yours to beachcomb for miles at sunrise and sunset without ever seeing a stranger. This was our 5th family trip to Cape Charles and by far, the best. Oh! If you do rent, please don’t disregard Check Out Instruction #1: “Check closets and drawers for personal items.” Yep, we ignored Rule 1 and left a bag right by the bed. But Linda, the best house cleaner in the world, immediately notified Shaun, who went to extreme lengths to coordinate the return of the bag. Both went above and beyond any usual customer service standard.

Summary: We loved our stay. We've never experienced such a beautiful open beach, often all to ourselves. It's wonderful to sit on the screen porch, take long walks, sit in the hot tub and watch the water, and enjoy the sunsets, and rarely see other people in either direction. It's a short trip to town and good restaurants, or the state park. Can't beat having a farm with fresh produce in the neighborhood. Sean was attentive and a gracious host. We will definitely want to come back.

Summary: Breath-taking views and a beach all to yourselves. It was the perfect escape our family and friends were looking for. So grateful this place was available to rent, open to pets, and not far from downtown. It's a slice of heaven. We loved it and would happily return in the future!

Summary: We just stayed in this beautiful beachfront property in July; 7 adults and 4 Children. From the moment you arrive, you know you have just about the best location around. The beach is basically yours! All amenities were as advertised. If we needed anything (propane for grill one day), Shaun was wonderfully responsive and always available to help or answer questions. Sunsets are unforgettable. WiFi was not great, but we came here for the private location; right on the beach. We absolutely loved and enjoyed this property, we will definitely be back someday to stay again! We’ve been to Cape Charles twice, and when we return, I won’t stay anywhere but here! Thank you again for our stay!!

Summary: Unique location, spacious house and wonderful beach! Everyone in our group, from age of 3 months to 70+ really enjoyed it. You have the beach almost to yourself, can see birds, crabs and dolphins, and beautiful sunsets each night. Even though you’re in the bay, you really get the ocean feeling. The fact that we could use the kayaks was a big plus.

Summary: This house was great for a weekend away with friends. The views are spectacular, and the location is great. Close to everything but far enough to seem like you’re in another world. Shaun was great to work with and was very helpful with any questions I had beforehand. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to the area. If the chance comes up to stay again, I surely will!
