Positive: Very smart and stylish. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed with quality bedding, nice big towels and great space outside. The location was perfect opposite Palm Beach. Nice bottle of wine waiting for us. Would recommend for families or couples.
Negative: Recycling could have been easier and lots of must do’s before checking out. Small things and no issues really. Not much sun on the veranda due to location of the apartment.

Positive: Fantastic experience overall. Furniture was clean and comfortable, the utensils and kitchenware were of high quality, aesthetic layout and design, and the owner was very hospitable. 10/10 stay, would come back again.

Negative: Accommodation like this on a beach should include beach towels for guests! Also the recycling, which requires the guest to take the recycling across the road to a council bin in a park seems dodgy...

Positive: It was very clean and close to the beach which was great. There was a book with a lot of recommendations which we really appreciated! Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Negative: When I booked I was under the impression that the laundry was in the unit. But it wasn’t. You have to pay 6$ NZD per wash and 4$ NZD per dry. It’s only accessible from 9am to 5pm. There are loads of rules too and a lot of "extra fees" if you don’t comply. We are always very respectful of the properties we stay at but being given so many rules left a bit of a sour taste in our mouths. Things like needing to bring your excess garbage or recycling to the landfill… The owners didn’t seem super friendly either. The rules weren’t an inconvenience since these are things we always do, but we did find them excessive and unwelcoming.
Summary: Very close to the beach and a lovely place to stay if you are ok with following a long list of rules!

Positive: The apartment was very clean and cozy. It has a simple but beautiful front deck. I especially loved that the apartment was just a road away from the beautiful Palm beach. You can hear the waves crashing in from the entrance of the apartment. There is also a bus stop right opposite the apartment, which makes it very convenient to get around the island. I enjoyed my stay very much.
Negative: I stayed during the winter and there was only 1 radiator/heater in the living room. It would have been great if there was a heat pump for the whole apartment or at least another heater in the bedroom.
