Positive: Location is excellent. Close to the Hampton Street village, where you can choose from a dozen different restaurants, bars, eateries within a 5-minute walk. It is also close to the Sandringham train line so getting into the city is a breeze. Lastly, access to Hampton beach is just at the end of the street and if you feel the need to stretch your legs or get some fresh air, there is a beautiful walk all the way to Elwood and beyond.

Negative: Nothing really.

Positive: Location good. Bathroom good - nice shower with great lighting and heating options. Kitchen good size with lots of glasses, plates, bowls etc. I didn’t cook though because there are so many great coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Apartments nice and easy with lifts to basement. Good ac/heating available in room and bedroom for hot/ cold Melbourne weather.

Negative: Rug in bedroom a trip hazard and bed too hard! Would have been good to have more bedding options. Only large heavy doona provided.

Summary: Good spot to stay for weekend or week if you like a hard bed.

Positive: Everything. Position close to beach and railway station, tastefully decorated with extremely well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed, plenty of good lighting and a lovely, quiet outlook onto Small Street. Mirrors definitely make a difference as well. Lots of cafes and shops a short walk away. Best of all, a safe, free place to park underground. Excellent host communication. Highly recommend!
