Summary: Fully brand new appartment, with a very nice and big room with eating table; cozy big sofa and fully equipped kitchen. A separated and super comfortable sleeping room with bathroom. All super clean and quiet. Great location, 1 minute walking distance from the beach and 5 minutes from downtown, shops and restaurants. The staff was very gentle and helpful. Absolutely great place.

Summary: The Beachside Resort is a great place to stay in Whitianga. We had separate bedroom and living rooms, along with a small kitchen, which was very convenient for a multi-day stay. The heated pool is very nice. The complex is less than one block to the beach and only a few blocks to town. Cathedral Cove (30-min drive, 10-min shuttle, then 40-min walk) is worth a visit.

Summary: Lovely & clean in a great location. However the resort charged my business credit card that I’d used to secure the booking, prior to arrival which was annoying as I’d specified I wanted to pay upon arrival. Neither the resort or the booking site Wotif would take any accountability unsurprisingly.
