Positive: Check in time was good and when we arrived no issues with getting access to our room. Very busy for a Sunday as when we arrived,, there was Sunday Lunch being served for patrons so staff where slightly busy. As the Inn would close when the last people eating left the while Inn would close, so we ate when there ahead of closure. Room was clean and tidy and big enough as a twin. Beds where comfortable. Breakfast was excellent Staff very friendly and helpful

Negative: Maybe I did not read the details sufficiently enough but on the Sunday after we arrived, when the last person left after Sunday Lunch, the Inn would close so no chance of getting drinks in the evening. May have been OK for other people stopping but we where disappointed No taxis available when we tried to get one to get into Wellington, but his may have been because it was a Bank Holiday

Summary: Good Stop Over location for a bike trip, shame the Bar did not stay open in the evening

Positive: Location. Room and was all excellent as usual And the wine was fabulous

Negative: Hate to say it however one member of staff was a little too over powering for our liking made us feel a little uncomfortable

Negative: Room was overlooked by a busy railway line, so noisy both day and night.

Positive: we were very happy that this room included a lovely bath and plenty of hot water to help us relax after a long day of travel staff were just lovely and really helpful and welcoming

Negative: dinner wasn't great - I had roast beef/ open sandwich but it was really tough and chewy my daughter loved the calamari just not the salad dressing ceilings in the room looking very worn/peeling the rest was clean, cool, comfy

Summary: a great night's sleep and delicious breakfast after a lot of travel - thank you!
