Summary: It was a very hot stay the first night. No air conditioning. the owner was very nice and thoughtful. Cooked us breakfast with very fresh eggs and sausage. The second night was not the fault of the owner but we were evacuated due to impending forest fire at 12:30 AM. We left so suddenly that I forgot to give back the room key which I will mail back to him ASAP. I hope and praythe owner did not lose his place to the fire.

Summary: This is exactly what I expected. It’s very rustic, cozy and doesn’t have all the fancy amenities other hotels may have But it’s very quaint and the people here have been awesome

Summary: The stairs to the sleeping rooms were daunting, so I would suggest packing light. They did have a chairlift for me to use as I have a disability.

Summary: We love this cozy, remote, unique place!! Our hostess Laura was so fabulous that she called up on the road just to check on us. An amazing breakfast awaits you on the main floor in the morning. Even if you're not a hiker there are lots of things to see just walking around.

Summary: This is a wonderful historic lodge. There are lots of fun things to do like a pool table and a giant checker board. This is the perfect location to enjoy the local State Park and Mount Spokane. It is so nice to enjoy a building that honors it's history! The staff was very kind!
