Positive: This was our second time to stay at Bear Grylls camp. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Absolutely loved the freedom for the kids and opportunities to explore. Beds are very comfortable, facilities fantastic, staff very friendly and accommodating. I don't have a bad w9rd to say about Bear Grylls Camp.

Positive: Good camping & BBQ option, rooms are good and clean, bathroom though is freezing.
Negative: Reception. When we asked the hiking trails names and where they start - both guys at the reception immediately offered hiking instructor. When we said that we don’t need an instructor and prefer to go alone, the answer was “We are reception, we don’t know the trails”. Well, I think (as a hotelier I know), that’s it’s a not a good FO approach to withheld common knowledge about the area. This said, it’s easy to find all track details online and enjoy hiking and rock climbing without “mandatory” instructor.
Summary: Good place for overnight with BBQ, just escape activities
