Positive: Everything- fantastic location, amazing staff, fabulous food and gorgeous rooms with luscious gardens. Pick you up and drop off to train station. So helpful with lovely family who run it. Outside centre of Vang Vieng hut food so good we didn’t venture anywhere else. Close to local treks and lagoons.

Positive: Comfortabel and big bed. Huge and well maintained garden. Swimmingpool is closed due to renovation but there is a very nice and big replacement to cool off. Great, helpfull and friendly staff. Good scooter rental no hustle with your passport.

Positive: Everything! The location is amazing and is out of town, so quieter & more idyllic (facing a mountain). They The resort is quaint, and the grounds are so pretty and immaculate. The rooms are nice and have everything you need. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We had our own driver and were driven to local sites for 2 days. The staff were so friendly and really enhanced the whole trip. The highlight of the trip was the view from our veranda - absolutely stunning! We would highly recommend staying here. We stayed in room BB8 (smaller room with view in my photo).

Positive: They arranged a lovely in house massage in our room which was much appreciated after a days hiking. Easy and cheap tuk tuk transfer into town when we needed and train station pick up. They also had scooter hire at a great price. The pork knuckle and crepes were so yummy and highly recommend eating at the restaurant. They arranged laundry for us and gave us guidance about the next stage of our trip. So friendly and helpful and the view of the nearby mountains from the pool was amazing. An abundance of flowers in bloom and butterfly's everywhere in the lovely gardens
Negative: We didn't want to leave! But be careful of the slippery tile exits on the rooms below the steps

Positive: For a 2 star hotel/accommodation we would say it’s at the top end in terms of comfort and amenities. The individual lodges are private and in good working order; the fridge looked new, the air conditioning was good plus a ceiling fan. A nice porch for us overlooking the pool and great natural views of karsts. The gardens are well maintained and offers a really peaceful retreat. The menu selection offers local and a few western options, americano, latte coffee too. All the food we had was delicious. In terms of staff attention and hospitality this is first class, it had a family run feel but the staff are very quiet and busy working. The manager speaks more English and is extremely helpful, he will organise transfers and pick ups making it very easy to access the location. They offer to organise tours locally; hot air balloon, buggy and scooter hire. Having a pool to cool off was great and it was kept clean.
Negative: The steps into the pool are a bit tricky and sun beds need full shade, they are not easy to move to avoid the sun.
Summary: This is a well organised and professionally run hotel, set in the beautiful countryside.

Negative: Had a mouse scratching in the ceiling during the night and this kept us awake ! But I am sure this is getting corrected and a sporadic incident !

Positive: This bungalow was everything we wanted. A really cute place with an amazing view. It was a great to have such attentive staff who picked us up for free from the train station , arranged tours and booked bus tickets. No task was too big.
Negative: The walk into town was 30 minutes away but the staff offered a lift into town for 50,000 kip which was reasonable. We were aware of this before we booked and enjoyed being a bit away from town.

Positive: Breakfast was fine, and so was lunch. We didn't find it expensive at all. Lovely garden, and very kind and helpful staff. The hotel is situated outside of the town, which made it a peaceful and green haven after being in town. Good with the possibility of being driven to the bridge at a low cost. Fantastic views!!
Negative: In one of the bungalows the lock to the toilet door caused some trouble, and the shower flooded. A bit difficult to get into the pool which was also smaller than what it looked like on the photos. Quite a lot of traffic on the road outside.
