Positive: The amenities and decor of the cabin are very nice. Plenty of room for our family of six. The view is also really top notch and we enjoyed the deck and the lower level hot tub. Well appointed kitchen.

Negative: I was notified early in the day that the cabin was all clean & ready for our arrival (I had responded that we would be checking in at 4:00) however, when the first of us arrived a little after 5:00 the cleaning people were still in the cabin cleaning. Not really sure where the miscommunication occurred but it was a bit disconcerting and confusing initially- “is this even the right cabin?” My daughter phoned the management company and the person she spoke to was very nice and apologetic. The cleaning team finished up quickly but I have a feeling they rushed through the job, as there were still A LOT of dead ladybugs and some live ones particularly in the upstairs bedroom and bath. I realize this is just the nature of being in the mountains in a cabin - we aren’t really squeamish about insects but if you are, it’s something to be aware of. The washer and dryer are a nice thing to have access to, although the dryer took several cycles per load to dry fairly small amounts of clothes. Not a huge issue just something to note.

Summary: All in all it is a lovely, well appointed cabin with everything you’ll need for your stay. I would consider staying agai

Negative: Too small living room and dining area. Loft shower had black mold on back of door and on top of shower. Bed upstairs was like sleeping on a concrete floor.

Negative: One of my little nieces fell down the stairs. They're pretty slippery, so you should definitely use the handrail.

Positive: Great location with a fabulous southern Sky view. Everything was clean and comfortable. layout was nice and easy. Multiple levels allow teenagers to have their own area and adults to have their own area. When the outdoor swing broke, maintenance came and fixed it right away. There are two bathrooms at this cabin. Master bathroom on the second floor has the big soaking tub and the separate shower. The second floor master bedroom also has a walk-in closet. Another full bathroom is on the first floor behind the kitchen and across from the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have king size beds. Kitchen was small, but very workable for our needs. The lower level has the queen size bunkbeds, a pullout couch, the game table with Pac-Man and a walks out lower deck with the Jacuzzi, there’s no bathroom on the lower level. Bear proof trash cans on site are plus and definitely needed as we saw evidence one morning that a bear had been there. Barbecue on site is like what you see at state parks, see pictures. Fabulous location with the Little river and Cades Cove close by.

Negative: The outdoor furnitures are needing TLC. Finish peeling up on the high top table. All outdoor Furniture needs resealed including decking. Swing broke with one person sitting on it, but maintenance came and fixed it quickly. Bedroom closets could use more than two hangers.

Positive: Beautiful view from front porch! Convenient to Townsend, TN, but felt very remote! Wifi worked great!

Negative: Verizon had no cell reception. So we used wifi calling instead.
