Positive: The chalet is situated on the road from Morzine to the Prodains skilift that takes you up to Avoriaz. The free shuttle that brings Morzine residents to Les Prodains stops just in front (the bus-stop is called "Les Crets"). We had our dinners in Morzine which has plenty of restaurants but they get busy in the high season so better to make your reservations in advance. Same for the ski passes : get them online in advance, if you do not yet have the RFID smartcards there are 2 self-service printers in Les Prodains where you can get your confirmed order issued (make sure you have the QR code from the confirmation email). The 2 machines are on the right of the Prodains entry and the 2nd is just a tiny pole hidden behind the first. We queued 15mins only to find out that that little pole spits the cards out in 5 secs and wasn't otherwise being used (first one is data entry terminal, the little pole is just a QR scanner). Back to the chalet : it's a cozy chalet, nothing luxurious but its clean and had all we needed. Host reacts very fast to messages or queries. The garage was plenty roomy for our car and some space to don all the skiing gear. WIFI performed flawlessly throughout our stay. Towels provided. While there are beds for 8 there is just 1 shower. We stayed as a family of 4 so no problems for us. Water is warm and aplenty. 2 double beds, 1 on each floor. A bunk bed and 2 singles upstairs. They all interconnect though so privacy gets iffy as you increase occupancy. For the 4 of us it was very roomy and comfortable. 1 caveat : upstairs has some beams, I am just above 1.8m and had to crunch a wee bit so if you are over 1.85 better stay downstairs or wear a helmet. We felt lucky to find this gem available in the high season. PS we rented our gear through doorstep who drove up to the chalet to deliver and test-fit our equipment then picked it up again at the end of our stay.
Negative: Some minor details : we like our beds a little larger (queen size), and mattresses may need to be renewed at some stage.

Positive: The property is located in a lovely location and great for waking, running and biking. The balcony and living room have a fantastic view which you can just sit and enjoy at all times. The kitchen is well equipped and a lovely space to cook meals in. The chalet is very clean and we found our stay very comfortable. The garage was great for storing bikes and added more space to the property. Communication with the hosts was exceptional and nothing felt too much trouble. We would certainly stay here again.
