This Suite is a self-contained, furnished, rental accommodation. The 844 sq. ft one bedroom, one bathroom, with office area, ground level suite is located in scenic Sidney by the Sea, 2 minutes away from the ocean, All Bay Park, Shoal Harbour Bird Sanctuary and Van Isle marina. Close to all amenities and a short drive to Butchart Gardens and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Very easy access from Victoria International Airport, BC Tsawwassen/Swartz Bay Ferry, Washington State /Anacortes Ferry. 30 minute drive from Victoria (Black Ball Ferry from Port Angeles, USA).
The new suite is bright, comfortable and decorated with high end furnishings. In suite washer and dryer.
Get your own groceries and cook in your full kitchen (includes fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, small appliances, enough dishes for you and guests).

Summary: This worked well for my 1 month stay, would've stayed longer but it was booked for September. Spacious for my needs, and bright. Well-equipped. Close to public transit, downtown & Swartz Bay routes, and nearby harbours and marinas, pleasant walks.

Summary: This rental was exactly what we hoped it would be. The suite was comfortable and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed to make meals etc. The location was excellent and close to the ocean, parks and center of town. The hosts were highly responsive and accessible but not intrusive in any way.

Summary: We spent 4 months in this apartment and loved it. It is very spacious and the owners were more than willing to supply extras, i.e. rolling pin as I make my own pie pastry and wanted a mincemeat pie for Christmas dinner. They also supplied a roasting pan for the turkey and extra pots. The kitchen was well supplied. spices, condiments etc. It is very central to all the shopping in Sydney, about 2 kms to the central downtown. I should mention they have two cute dogs that romp in the back yard several times a day and are very friendly. They DO NOT BARK. We would highly recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to come back. Joan & Bob

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay! The suite is modern, spacious, and clean. We really appreciated the full kitchen, which comes stocked with plenty of kitchen tools and supplies, and there was a few different condiments and cooking basics in the fridge and cupboards. We also found a bottle of champagne and a $50 gift card to a local Fish n' Chips place for us to enjoy, which was a really nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back if we are ever in Sydney again!

Summary: We really enjoyed our time at this VRBO; the suite is new with high-end appliances and furnishings. The décor creates a relaxing space to come back to with every convenience, including a BBQ on the patio. The suite is close to excellent restaurants, shopping, walking opportunities, ferry and airport. Paul and Fan were very helpful with every question we had from theatres to oil changes. We highly recommend this suite!

Summary: This is excellent accommodation in a good location. Private, quiet, comfortable and spacious. Quality furnishings throughout. Kitchen is a delight for those who enjoy cooking. I was here during a late winter snow storm and appreciated retreating to this warm suite. Bus to Victoria stops close by. Sea Glass restaurant and the Starfish Café are just a few steps away and the Library and Beacon Avenue are an easy 30 minute walk. It felt like home. Owners are very welcoming hosts and they respond quickly to any questions or concerns.

Summary: Very pleased with the hosts and the suite is nicely designed and finished and thoughtfully outfitted. Still some things to be done to the property overall to bring it to a 5, however, one of the owners is now dealing with a health condition that has made progress obviously very challenging, so it's understandable. The owners/hosts themselves are very pleasant and accommodating. One somewhat odd situation is that a guest has access to a PVR, but it is shared with the hosts. So, I accidentally deleted a bunch of content thinking it was leftover from previous guests. It wasn't!! Oops! But the hosts were very understanding realizing they had neglected to explain that to me.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely suite. Everything described and illustrated in the photos was accurate. It was extremely well appointed, well equipped with everything you could possibly imagine needing and had a very comfortable bed. The owners Fran and Paul welcomed us with a gift card to a local Fish and Chip place and a bottle of champagne. Nice patio with BBQ over looking the back yard with fruit trees. We will return to this lovely suite.

Summary: The 1 bedroom suite is as described with all new furniture and furnishings. The bed is very comfortable with nice pillows too. Great blinds that make the room very dark for good sleeping. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you could need. Sidney by the Sea is a great beautiful town and I would stay in Sidney again. The 1 bedroom suite is one block from a great harbor that serves a great breakfast. The suite is a close drive to Victoria, Ferries, Airport and Butchart Gardens. The Owner Fran was very helpful and even had the suite stocked with coffee and wine before we arrived. She also had a gift certificate for a great Fish Restaurant down the street. The only thing I was disappointed in was the "private patio". The patio is not private. The view from the "private patio" is the owners' backyard with a covered up automobile and various building supplies laying around on a green lawn and two really cute dogs. The owners work and live upstairs on the same property. If you like to relax outdoors in a private setting this is not the place for you. The inside was fabulous and the price was great. Unfortunately, I would not rent this space again. Not enough outdoor privacy for me.
