Step Back In Time...Welcome to our Farmhouse! Particularly suitable for couples and adult friends looking to escape the hustle and bustle of modern day life and capture the simplicity of the "Good Ole Days"
Cedar Oaks Inn Is located in Dickinson. The property is 19 miles from Galveston and 20 miles from Houston and free private parking is provided.
The Birdcage Saloon offers a private saloon, terrace and courtyard. This 1800's carriage house has a spacious open floor plan that embodies the charms of its original era. This is a 1400 sq ft two story carriage house with a saloon on the first floor and bedroom on top floor. The name Birdcage Saloon is a saloon, decorated to look like 1800 to early 1900's with many original pieces of art no detail was left untouched from the card table to the back of the bathroom doors, art is everywhere along with a custom made fifteen foot bar. The bar is equipped with a wine frig, ice maker, sink and anything else you would need in a bar. (bring your own liquor) There is plenty to do in this room with a pool table, card table etc. Also you will find a full bath with huge walk in shower with three shower heads one is a huge rainfall shower head.
Downstairs off the living area there is a peaceful court yard with water feature and plenty of seating. Once you make your way upstairs to the beautifully decorated bedroom with a custom painted mural and many other custom features from the hand forged iron king bed to the painted vanity. There is a full bath with a 6 ft soaking tub and double vanity. A sitting area with a coffee/wine bar with mini frig. Just off the bedroom is a very large balcony with dining and seating, or if you just want to relax on the double chaise. The balcony over looks the magnificent pool and gardens. This is a one of a kind special place to enjoy anytime or spend a special occasions with your loved one. Each morning you will be served a gourmet breakfast with the option of Mimosa or Bloody Mary at 10 am.

Summary: The wife and I were searching for unique and fun places to celebrate our anniversary. Anybody can get a hotel...we love VRBO because of the cool places to stay. This was by FAR the coolest we have ever been in. Tonya and Jeff have put so much TLC into their lovely Carriage House. We were swept back to the late 1800's...but with all the amenities of today. Pictures don't tell the whole story. Treat yourself and your partner...Everyone needs to experience this awesome property...we will definitely return! Thanks to Tonya and Jeff for the wonderful stay, great conversation and incredible food!! This deserves way more than 5 stars!!

Summary: Unique bed and breakfast located close to Houston and Galveston. The property has beautiful grounds and the guest houses are one of a kind. The breakfasts were fantastic and the hosts are incredibly friendly.

Summary: We have stayed at Cedar Oaks twice this year because we always have the best time. Tanya and Jeff are amazing hosts who treat their guests like family. The saloon is a two story, private, luxury getaway and the backyard is an oasis! Breakfast is gourmet each morning. You are close to Houston, Galveston, NASA, Kemah, and lots of good food. We will be back again!

Summary: I can’t say enough nice things about our experience at the Cedar Oaks Inn B&B. The room was very spacious and very clean. The property was beautiful. The food was five star gourmet. We just got home from this trip and we are already planning our next stay at Cedar Oaks Inn. The hosts Jeff and Tanya are great!!

Summary: Cedar Oaks is lovely in every way! Tucked away on it’s own, it’s a wonderful enclave full of magical moments to discover during your stay. We stayed in the Birdcage Saloon which was such fun, reminiscent of an upscale New Orleans saloon with a bordello upstairs. Every detail has been so well considered, from yummy velvet throws to even beer on tap. The owners, Tanya and Jeff, are so warm and fun and accommodating, respectful of your privacy but there when you want them. Tanya’s design talent is inspiring, we especially loved her beautiful hand painted furniture. The pool was perfect for relaxing afternoons (even better with one of Jeff’s margaritas) and the adjoining spa and fireplace with hundreds of fairy lights in the trees made for enchanting evenings. The other building on the property, the Barracks, was also utterly charming in it’s unique way. It would be perfect to rent both buildings with friends or family for a really fun getaway. We will see you again, Tanya and Jeff, thank you for your incredible hospitality!

Summary: We have started staying in bed and breakfasts for the past couple of years and this one blows all of them out of the water! It has unique touches and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast is top-rate and the pool was awesome! We cannot wait to go back!

Summary: This was my second time staying at Cedar Oaks Inn, and just like the first time it didn’t disappoint! The Nusses go to great lengths to spoil their guests! The property is so beautiful and relaxing! I booked this property for my best friend and I to enjoy her birthday for the weekend! We are both moms of small children so the relaxing weekend was exactly what we needed for rejuvenate! We rented the birdcage saloon which is fantastically decorated! The bed upstairs is so comfy, we had a hard time getting out of bed. We enjoyed coffee on the upstairs balcony, surrounded by beautiful green vines. We swam in their beautiful, luxurious pool all day. Jeff brought us his signature margarita which, in my humble opinion, was the best margarita Ive ever had. We were treated to amazing breakfast each morning of our stay. Tanya’s cooking should be world famous. This place is a must see bucket list stay!
