Summary: This property was such a wonderful break for everyday life. The boat was exactly as pictured and the marina was nicer than I had imagined. During the day we went and swam in the Mississippi and after we had our dinner on the top of the boat. A perfect getaway.

Summary: The boat is adorable! Roomy and comfortable for 2 adults and 1 teenager. It was clean and well taken care of, but remember it’s an antique, and very quaint. The “neighborhood” was quiet and peaceful. Great movie selection for rainy nights. The host recommended a lovely restaurant for my partners birthday and we had a spectacular feast. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends!

Summary: I travel to the TCs multiple times a year and usually stay downtown. Staying on the house boat was a great change of pace. First of all, the location is fantastic. You are close to many amenities but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Very close to the airport. Good restaurants close as well. I even stopped into a couple DDD joints! The interior of the boat was very nice and couldn’t stop marveling at the hard woods. At the time of my stay there wasn’t any cable but there’s a TV with DVD player. The TV does have a HDMI imput and I hooked up my iPad for some Netflix. Keep in my this boat is older and has some quirks. I did plan ahead knowing this wasn’t going to be like staying in a hotel. The owners did have extra shampoo/conditioner, towels, dishes, hangers, etc. Chris, the owner, was very responsive and made sure what to expect. I’d definitely recommend staying here again and was worth trying something different.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! A unique take on the Twin Cities!! The boat is lovely and cozy, though a little rustic, which we felt added to the charm. It is secluded yet located close to all, the beds are very comfortable, and our hosts thought of most everything. We had a few small issues at check-in that were quickly remedied. We met some lovely people at the marina, though I do have to say I have never seen more mosquitos!! I think we got the full Minnesota in the summer experience!! Thank you so much for letting your charming houseboat be a part of our travel story!!

Summary: We were very intrigued by the idea of living on a houseboat, so we decided to give it a try. Chris and Rushika were wonderful hosts and were very facilitating in answering all of our questions. Chris met us on the houseboat and made checking in super easy, showing us all the details of the boat--important for us as this was our first experience! It did not take long for us to get settled in and appreciate all the charm and character this historic and well maintained boat has to offer. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching all the boats come and go along the Mississippi River. We also enjoyed bicycling and running the path along the river located just out of the front door. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future. It's a once in a lifetime experience!

Summary: Peace and tranquility after our long journey from Australia, the houseboat was just what we needed. Comfortable and spacious, containing everything we needed. Lovely to sit on the upper deck for morning coffee or evening drinks. The friendly local boat folks invited us to their evening campfire. A short taxi ride into St Paul, which is a beautiful city, or you could walk to public transport only a couple of blocks away.. We enjoyed a paddle steamer cruise along the upper Mississippi from Harriet Island. The cathedral and Capital building are also great to see. Would definitely stay here again. The owners were helpful during the booking process and during our stay.
