Summary: What a wonderful stay! We rented both the house and cabin and were very happy with both. The cabin was quiet and peaceful along the stream, perfect for sitting on front porch with hot chocolate for a serene beginning to the day. The house was beautiful and spacious with several features that charmed all of our guests. We had a great time sitting by the waterfall , firepit and using the large porch table to have everyone together for our Thanksgiving dinner. Peter was great to deal with. He helped us get up the mountain the first day , and was quick to respond to our questions before and during our stay. Can't say enough about how enjoyable the experience was!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The place was beautiful and enjoyed some nice hikes from the cabin with our daughter and two Aussie dogs. The dogs felt right at home with how dog friendly the cabin was set up. The creek and property was very relaxing and kitchen completely stocked for cooking! Definitely take advantage of the escort up to the cabin as that was helpful by the property manager. Thank you and we are looking forward to another trip back!! :)

Summary: i rented this cabin for my daughter and grandkids for a week's stay. i have a nearby cabin so i know the area very well.the setting is magnificent being directly on hornbuckle creek. the cabin itself is immaculate.all the amenities were in excellent condition and operated as they should. peter was readily available but we did not need him once. access and parking were no problem as many cabins in the area are nearly inaccessible. things to enjoy: hiking nearby horseback riding kayaking/rafting watching nature(birds,an occasional elk or bear) sitting on the deck in the evening listening to the creek and doing nothing thanks karen and peter the family had a memorable and wonderful time.

Summary: The cabin is beautiful - definitely ideal for an unplug-and-getaway stay. It took about 15 mins from the main road to the cabin, and that trip is rather daunting at night (make sure you get an escort the first time and definitely memorize your landmarks at the turns). The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Our 21-year-old son preferred to sleep on the couch than the bunk bed (it was squeaky and he wasn’t confident that it would hold his weight well). We loved spending time on the porch/balcony, listening to the creek (we were hoping to see elk/deer/bear but had no luck this time); definitely needed bug repellent esp when we went down to the creek!

Summary: Beautiful home. Well stocked for a family stay. Creek was beautiful and rushing sound of creek was relaxing. Flowers out front were beautiful. Road was a little worrisome in places. . It would have been easier to find if the street number was at top of road where you turn down. It had 2473 which made you think that the next house up would be 2475 which is the reason I started up the hill then slid back and had to be pulled out. Other than that experience the trip was great except for getting sick on my way home and bring diagnosed with Covid.

Summary: Communication was excellent, the escorted trip to the cabin is highly recommend. Road was well maintained and easy to traverse if you are familiar with typical mountain roads. When we arrived there were dog treats and water bowls waiting on our pets, which was such a nice gesture. This house is one of the best I’ve stayed it. It’s FULLY stocked as if someone lived there all the time. The mountain stream in front of cabin was nice to provide a boundary between our dogs and the dirt road. Every night we kept the window open to listen to the sounds as it was so relaxing with all the water flowing.
