Positive: Comfy bed. Very clean. Generous allotment of towels, toilet roll. Appreciated the bottles of water. Lovely to have Netflix provided. Well appointed kitchen. Full sized laundry. Shower is tricky to start but is generous.
Negative: There was no mention in the description that this was a basement suite with no view except for a concrete wall. There was no where to sit outside. I described it as an inside cabin on a cruise ship, which is great if that's your expectation. In one bedroom, the large air conditioning unit was directly beside/above the head of the bed and sounded like a truck. It ran all night. In the other room, it seemed like it was directly under their laundry room. Overnight, on some nights, the washer was going all evening. Had to choose the bedroom depending on the noise. Uninterrupted sleep was appreciated when it happened (once in my six day stay.) As a solo traveller to arrive to a unit with all the windows open, it was disconcerting (especially as it was down some stairs and it was dark.) The windows were too high to reach and there were no stools, chairs or ladders to reach them to close them. No kitchen table or small table and chairs to sit at. Bedroom one (with the air conditioning unit) has a generous closet. Bedroom two (under the laundry room) had nowhere to put clothing. No closet, no chair, no table--just the floor.

Positive: Clean and comfortable. All requests were met with friendly and timely response.
Negative: The shower only got to luke warm. There was something preventing it from getting comfortable so it felt like a cool shower. Hot water everywhere else but shower.

Negative: The only thing that was off was the thermostat. I could not adjust the temperature. It did not impede the time spent there, but in a different season it might.
Summary: The property is a newly built unit and well designed. 10 minute walk to the ocean, restaurants.

Positive: Great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and transportation (bus stop by property). Very responsive hosts, and nothing was too much bother for them. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend! Nothing negative to say-I really can't fault this apartment. Thoughtfully designed. Felt at home.
