Summary: This is a beautiful rental, completely as described. The property is quiet and pretty private, and the access to the lake was wonderful! We are a family of four and wanted to get a way for a little while over the summer. My kids are 9 & 11 and they were fully entertained all week, even with a bunch of rain. Dorothy and Russ are excellent hosts and were available if we needed anything. It was a huge benefit to have them to move the dock in and out as the water level rose and fell. This is their actual home, and they have a second property on site which they stayed in. We saw them 2-3 times per day, which was helpful if we had questions or wanted suggestions. My youngest son was obsessed with their chickens, and they often had a grandchild on site for him to play with. The boat access was great, as we moored our boat there every night. The water was gradual enough to walk into, and the water was always inviting. There is a firepit on site, and many kayaks, games, and pretty much anything you might need for a week away. We made dinner at the house, we went out to eat (local favorites were Northampton Diner, Timeless Diner, Sports Island Pub), played mini golf, and we generally liked the surrounding activities and restaurants. Overall, this property is exactly as described and a true find for the lake. I would recommend their property for larger groups as well. Beautiful rental, wonderful people, and a spectacular lake... what else could you want?

Summary: Relaxing week. The great room is spacious, the outdoor kitchen ideal for grilling. Bedrooms comfortable. We made s’mores at the fire pit. Enjoyed taking the canoe and kayaks Out in the lake. Responsive and friendly owners.

Summary: It was fantastic! Our family had a wonderful relaxing time! That’s truly a vacation! The fire pit, the dock , kayaks and the beautiful scenery of the lake and the Adirondack Mountains made for one of the most relaxing vacate for our family!

Summary: My family and I had a great time while staying at this place. Owners were very respectful and kind.Went out of the way to build a little ramp to accommodate my wheelchair. . The house and property were very well kept. It was the best vacation I had a very long time . All of us had said already we wish we were still up there enjoying the beautiful house and lake. Summary: We stayed in this amazing home for a week. There was plenty of room for three generations of three families both inside and outside. Babies, teens, parents and grandparents found plenty to do. The owners were gracious, attentive and helpful in every way. We all created memories that will last a lifetime and considered ourselves fortunate to have stayed in such a wonderful vacation home.

Summary: Dorothy and Russ really know how to make your stay in their beautiful home enjoyable. They never hesitate to help in any way they can. The home is spacious, comfortable and well equipped from the kitchen, to linens, towels, indoor and outdoor seating, etc. Everything was clean and well cared for. The Italian restaurant down the road has outdoor seating and delicious food too. If you bring a boat, be sure you are ready to moor it. This was our first experience with mooring, and it can be tricky, especially if windy, although it did provide us with a lot of laughs!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vacation home. It was an awesome week.
