In the beating heart of Amersfoort, next to the well-known Koppelpoort and a small town pub, is a small national monument that has since been completely restored. While retaining all original and authentic details, the warm, comfortable and modern decor offers a delightful place for 2 people (max 3) to stay and spend the night. Upon entering you will experience that the cottage is furnished with taste & love. The use of only natural materials and the cozy interior ensure that you immediately feel at home at a top location in the old center of Amersfoort. As soon as you enter the small "hall", you are directly in the living room with an open kitchen that is fully equipped. The open staircase gives you access to the large bedroom with a double Auping Essential bed, the bathroom with shower and toilet and a single designer daybed at the rear, where you can relax or sleep. Behind the kitchen is the utility room where it is possible to place your bike through the back entrance. The living room is furnished with an orange sofa from Zuiver and a spacious armchair. The kitchen, which also offers space for a dining table with chairs, is equipped with a small dishwasher, a combi microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. At the small bar you can read the newspaper while enjoying a cup of Nespresso. Upstairs, the beds are already made upon arrival with the surprising Snurk duvet covers. In the bathroom there are more than enough bath towels for daily use.

Summary: This little house is well-equipped, warm, and comfortable, and in an excellent position right next to the historic Koppelport in the centre of Amersfoort. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

Summary: Great location, very clean and comfortable. Owners are easy to contact and quick to reply. The apartment is beautifully decorated, it feels modern, spacious and homely. The bed was comfortable, heating was good and amenities were great. The only down side was the pub next door is loud on the weekends and people stand outside the front door and smoke and talk loudly. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay again.

Summary: Location can't be beat. House, bed and bathroom are clean and include all the things a visiter needs to prepare their own small meals and entertain. Highly recommend.

Summary: Great location and very comfortable accommodation. Good communication and easy checking and check out. Amerrsfoort was a very pleasant place to visit for the weekend and highly recommend. Overall I would recommend this accommodation ! One downside was a party that took place late evening in pub next door on one of the evenings - perhaps this was unusual? It was quiet on other occasions.

Summary: Very sweet location near a town gate. Cozy inside. Perfect base to explore from. We could sit in the living area with a couple friends who were staying in a hotel nearby. Only possible drawback is a pub next door that can remain lively into the night. But the home itself is clean and has nice exposed brick and rafters upstairs.
