This beautiful boat home is located right on Lake Pend Oreille offering a prime location for outdoor activities - fish off the deck, swim in the alcove in front of the home, or hike or play disc golf at Farragut State Park. When you enter this unique retreat, an inviting living area will greet you! Find a comfortable double futon and a smart TV. Next is the bedroom with a comfortable bed and a handful of beach towels. Continue the tour and you will come across the fully appointed kitchen complete with a full-size fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and a coffee maker. There is also a wall-mounted table and seating for two. And last, but not least, the private bathroom is located at the end of the home.

Summary: We loved staying here, it is a great place to take day trips from. It is not far from Sand Point and that in itself has a lot to offer from shopping to dining to relaxing on the City Beach. The floating home is also close to Farragut State Park, which has a Navy Museum that is worth while and a lot more outdoor activities (look it up!). Of course the home is a perfect launching point for kayaking or paddle boarding. There is a lot to explore from the water / dock edge and there is a short paddle to a fun floating bar/restaurant nearby. We did not bring fishing tackle and are a bit bummed that opportunity was lost. The neighbors were friendly and quiet. Bayview itself was slow paced. Other reviewers commented on some bugs and dust but that is an expectation of accommodations right on the water. Overall it was satisfactory. The house itself is well equipped with everything needed to make a nice meal. There was some coffee and basic spices, too. There were plenty of towels and the shower was refreshing after long days out exploring in the water and sun. There were fans in bedroom and living room that helped cool the evening air. A suggestion to future renters would be to bring a folding table and chairs, it was nice to enjoy dinner in the shade on the dock. We would stay there again.

Summary: We stayed 3 nights at this boat home. It’s a really cute house and includes everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans and dishes. The bathroom also had body soap and all the basic essentials. The only down side I found was that the front door is really hard to close and the back door didn’t seem very secure. Other than that everything was in very good condition. Very clean and nice furniture and the neighboring houses were also very friendly.

Summary: This was a cute little place. Important places seemed clean just no real dusting happens there. Disappointed that there was not a porch to sit on or anything outside to watch the water. The biggest bummer was the front door combo lock. It took about 25 times of putting the same code in over and over for it to work. Tried to reach out for help and no response for four hours and we had gotten back in by that time. The back door doesn’t latch yet there was no feeling of being unsafe down there. Would stay in the area again but would choose a different home.

Summary: This is a small house boat. When we arrived, the hot water didn't work and we had to call to get it fixed after taking freezing showers. We also could not get the air conditioning to work, only to call and find out that they did not have air conditioning. It was reasonably clean but still more bugs and dirt than one would like. There is nothing to hang clothes up on (hangers), no closets, no drawers, and no suit case stands. So it was very hard to keep things organized and clothes unwrinkled. That said, it was not BAD. I guess for the cost I would have loved it to be a bit nicer, but I would not recommend against staying here. Fine, just not super amazing. Once nice touch is that they provided to-go coffee cups which was great. And plenty of towels. Would suggest keeping shelf stable cream and sugar on hand for coffee drinkers. Overall stay was not A+ but a solid B.

Summary: Disappointing stay. House photographs well but that’s a slap of polish! NO HOT WATER! No AC or fans, house was 84° when we checked in at 6pm in July. They want you shoes off but laminate is not tight and will pinch your toes if you don’t stay on rugs (be careful, toilet seat pinches too). Garage was a mess and we had to pile stuff up in the corner just to be able to get in and out of kayak. Messaged host first night and never got a response the whole trip.
