4 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Chertsey

Warm and cozy cabin recently built with access to beautiful mountain lake and great views of the mountains, located one hour from Montreal in a wooded environment, offering you the privacy so much sought during the weekend or a vacation. The warm interior is very spacious and the cabin can accommodate up to 10 people.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR RENTAL - we only rent for 7 or 8 nights either from December 18 - December 26 or from December 26 - January 03, 2021.
Access to the lake is only 8-10 minutes walk from the cabin. A small step and there you are, right on the shore of a clear lake in a dream setting. You can fish for brook trout (truite mouchetée) or jump in the lake and swim, decision is yours.
About 10 minutes drive (7km) from the village (butcher, bakery, gas station, grocery store and SAQ).
4 bedrooms (bedding included) each with queen beds (+1 sofa bed in one bedroom), 2 bathrooms, wood fireplace and propane fireplace (November to April), washer / dryer, full kitchen.
Whether with family or friends, this cabin will meet your needs.
Bring only your food and towels, we take care of the rest!
Pets are welcome, but with some restrictions!

Outdoor fireplace with wood provided (not usable in winter).

A 50% deposit of the total is required when booking (70% refundable if a cancellation request is made 45 days before the arrival). The balance is due 7 days before your arrival.
Rates are for 8 people, 25 YEARS AND OVER; $ 50 per additional person (10 people maximum).
CABIN RULES:
A signed contract is required before the stay.
When you leave, you must return the chalet to the same condition as it was on your arrival:
- wash, wipe and store the dishes in the cupboards;
- empty the fridge, freezer and pantry;
- empty and remove garbage cans from the kitchen, bathrooms and other rooms;
-all doors and windows closed and locked;
- close the BBQ gas;
- turn off the interior fireplace (leave the pilot flame only)
For the winter period:
- lower the thermostats to 16 ° C at the end of your stay;
- close the SPA cover and lower the spa temperature to 60 F;

We apply strict hygiene and sanitation procedures, cleaning and disinfection of rooms, common areas and bathrooms. The cabin will remain unoccupied for a minimum of 24 hours to allow complete disinfection.

Summary: This was our 11th anniversary for our girls weekend. Chalet Bella Vista was quite nice and remote. It was a 10 minute walk to a small beach on a quaint lake. Highly recommended!

Summary: Beautiful cottage, We enjoyed the pool table in the evening and hot tub. I'm just disappointed that the kitchen was not well equipped, issues with fridge. And a few other things that should have been repaired/ replaced prior to our stay.

Summary: The property manager was helpful and accommodating. The property was clean, well prepared for our arrival. The kids had a blast, the adults got to relax and everyone loved the experience. If you are cooking big meals, bring a large cooking pan and splatter screen as that was the only thing missing. The hike to the lake was a nice walk through the woods but don't forget your shoes.

Summary: we booked chalet bella vista to get our family of 2 grandparents, 3 parents, and 3 kids under 18 months out of the city before the end of summer. the chalet was easy to find and check into, and exactly as listed. the location is on a quiet side road, the lot includes a hot tub, outdoor screened gazebo, fire pit and hammock. indoors has a pool table, fooseball, board games, fondu pot, raclette, and fireplace (for winter use) the bedrooms are comfortably furnished, although the AC doesn’t make it upstairs well on the hottest days and there is only 1 ceiling fan. a fan in each bedroom would be appreciated. the walk to the lake access is very well marked. it is indeed an 8-10 minute hike, not stroller accessible. there is a way to go back along the road and via an ATV path that is farther but took the same 8-10 minutes as it was more accessible. the beach itself is small pebbles large enough for a big beach blanket or 2 and enough for 2 people to sit with their feet in the water and it is shallow for the first few feet in, great for young children to explore. the area is shady in the morning, and the lake is quiet with a nice population of ducks and an otter. we had a few small issues with a power failure and slow internet, nothing that was the owners fault and they were extremely responsive to take care of everything and answer questions. overall we had a great stay and would recommend the property and the owners to anyone who wants a quiet area to enjoy some family time and the great outdoors.

Summary: This property had plenty of activity options such as pool table, satellite tv and hot tub as well as outdoor dining, campfire with wood provided, and a nearby fishing spot. There were lots of nice local attractions and sightseeing opportunities such as hiking trails, markets, restaurants, beaches and our favourite: Arbraska. The kitchen was loaded and linens and towels were available. We can’t do without laundry, so this was also a huge plus for us. There were two full baths and four roomy bedrooms upstairs. The aesthetic was fairly updated and uncluttered, which makes it easier to pack at the end of the trip. Neither stair has a railing which could be dangerous for young children or people with reduced mobility. There is air conditioning but it is a bit hotter upstairs. Opening a window helped. Satellite and internet did have some significant speed reductions at times but the owners were able to call their provider and the service did improve for a period afterwards. We would recommend this location for a family or larger group.
