Here is your log cabin getaway you've been dreaming of! Rustic enough to be up North, but still has all the modern comforts of home! secluded on a private road. Located "steps" from the Lily River....Perfect for trout fishing or just sitting on the dock and enjoying a glass of wine or cup of coffee. Miles of walking and biking trails ,and the ice age trails are also close by. The cabin's first floor has two large private bedrooms (full size tempurpedic beds) with handmade log and barn board beds, full bath, and a cozy kitchen with electric stove, fridge, microwave, and all the cookware you will need. The living area is complete with ample comfortable seating, TV and gas fireplace. The 2nd-floor loft has a tempurpedic king size bed and a quiet sitting area with large windows that overlook the forest and river views. Beautiful large wrap around deck with stainless steel gas grill. Plenty of seating to enjoy all the nature around you, and a separate screened-in, lighted gazebo for those late night cocktails or card games by the fire. Class A trout streams and trophy musky waters very close by. Close to nice dining, golf course, lakes, skiing and casino. Whitewater rafting down the raging Wolf River in the summer and endless trails for snowmobiling and skiing. We are located 15 miles from Lakewood, Wisconsin and 5 miles from Pickerel Wisconsin! Fantastic, private and quiet location! P.S. Central Air just added spring of 2022!!!!!!

Summary: We were so pleased with how quiet the property was with the calm babbling of the river outside! The home was well stocked, clean and beautifully decorated. The screened gazebo , the fire pit- all amazing. We will definitely return! Our hostess reached out prior to our stay and made our welcome personal.

Summary: Loved there are 2 bedrooms on the main floor (there is a large bedroom upstairs also). There is a great wrap around deck where we spent a good bit of time. Nice cushions on the chairs. A beautiful fire-pit area, and we had a fire. Absolutely beautiful river flowing by and rippling over exposed rocks. Saw a deer walk out of the woods and into the water! The home is furnished very nicely, beautiful linens, dishes, and everything you would need to fix a meal. There are 2 sitting areas and both of them have large windows. So beautiful to look out, especially with the aspens twittering. My husband walks with a walker and did just fine in the house and on the deck. This is a great, serene, and beautiful cabin. We went there to relax, read, talk, and rest, and we did that! There is a beautiful gazebo if it gets buggy or too hot, and the furniture inside is very nice. We did not see any bugs at all and no mosquitos while we were there even though we had brought sprays along with us. We took 2-lane roads up and ran into almost no traffic, and it was a gorgeous drive. Took us one hour longer, and it was worth every minute. The windows add so much to this cabin, and the lower parts open to let in air. We used the heat and the air conditioning while we were there (typical WI weather!), and it worked fine. There was also a large window at the top of the house where anyone upstairs could see out as well. The owner has decorated the cabin beautifully.

Summary: This little cabin was exceptionally clean, very inviting and well appointed. The temperpedic beds were a nice and a comfortable surprise - cozy, as they are full size mattresses. Very quiet surroundings. This is a perfect place for rest, reading and relaxation.

Summary: My wife and I visited for our honeymoon ten years ago, and we decided to revisit for our anniversary. A lot has stayed the same, and a lot has changed. The property is as beautiful as it was. It was kind of cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor aspects as much as we'd hoped, but it's plenty cozy! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a cozy, well-decorated, well-appointed cabin with a perfect, "up-north" feel. After 7 years, my wife and daughters returned for another New Years wintry experience. It didn't disappoint! Laurie is very responsive and helpful. When the Kettlebowl ski hill was closed she tipped us off the the wonderful Paul Bunyan ski hill 25 minutes away. Also, not to be missed is the Jack Lake cross county ski trails with gas-fire place lodge and wood burning fireplace shelter. What a treat, also 25 mins away. Lily Cabin is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a winter getaway!
