5 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Les Bossons, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

This beautiful self catering chalet sits at the foot of Mont Blanc. It enjoys some of the best views in the valley. Set in a lovely large garden with parking for up to 6 cars, it's a stunning location with views from every window up and down the Chamonix valley and especially from the enormous southerly facing deck and balcony. The 5 bedrooms all with ensuite or private bathrooms can be made up as either super-king doubles or 2 twin singles (to your requirements). Chalet facilities include; an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, free wifi, beautiful log burner and supply of logs for cosy evenings. This floor also has a separate large sauna suite and its own shower. The large Arctic Spa hot tub on the deck has amazing views up to Mont Blanc. The Chalet is in the perfect location to access all the ski areas in the Chamonix valley. It's a 2 minute walk away from the ski bus stop, and a further couple of minutes walk takes you to the local train stop that runs up and down the valley. We provide guest passes so you can use the bus and train for free.

Summary: A fantastic holiday we were a large family and the open plan living was great. The chalet caters for all your needs and more . The hot tub and sauna make for an extra special stay, the owners have a fantastic eye for detail and they pay great attention to detail to ensure everything you need for a fabulous holiday is thought of . We would highly recommend this chalet for any time of year , it has beautiful views , it’s very close to slopes and Chamonix which is very pretty and has lots of lovely eateries

Summary: If you want some precious memories in a magical, luxurious, homely chalet, this is your stop. The skiing is simply a bonus. We first went to Chalet La Moraine in 2016, due to a good friend’s recommendation. We heard that it was a gorgeous chalet, sleeping ten people with five bathrooms, a hot tub and a sauna. We arrived and it was magical! When the snow is falling and the fire is burning and the coffee machine is on, there is simply nowhere better. Our family of six is unbelievably jammy to have been twice now. (At risk of sounding very sad, barely a day goes by without one of us reminiscing about a favourite moment there.) The whole place is a gift, it’s so delightful. Skiing is great - at Cormayeur through the mountain (£50 through the tunnel so not cheap but gorgeous views and delicious Italian food). Or locally at Les Houches - perfect for intermediate and beginner skiining. Family passes allow cheaper rates for larger families so we loved that aspect. The owners recommended a ski rental place where they have an arrangement for good prices. There are only two drawbacks: 1) that we can’t go more often, and don’t really want to go anywhere else, and, 2), it’s so supremely comfy in the chalet, we don’t always want to venture away from it and into the mountains. Genuinely, the chalet is top drawer. The owners are very friendly. I can’t imagine anyone not liking this hidden gem. Words can barely describe its delights. It might be a cliché, but, simply, it is; *The best*!!

Summary: From our very first enquiry until the time we were actually staying in the chalet, the communication from Sarah and Richard was really excellent, which was hugely helpful to us, and certainly helped us to get the most our of our holiday. Also Andrea is available nearby if needed. The chalet itself is really well appointed, there is everything you could possibly need. The view from most rooms, and the verandah, is spectacular. The rooms are all lovely, with lots of bathrooms. Within a ten minute walk are a couple of bars and restaurants, and also the bus stop - catching the bus to Les Houches or Chamonix is really straight forward - just a few minutes on the bus either way. We visited in the summer, and there is so much to do in the surrounding area, we would certainly like to return.

Summary: As soon as I saw the photos and description of the chalet I knew that I wanted to stay here. Sarah made the booking process really easy and provided some really great information about the property and the local area before we travelled. Any questions that we had were answered and Sarah could not have been more helpful and accommodating. On arrival we found the chalet to be exactly as advertised, every member of our family party was really pleased with our choice of chalet. The description was exactly as written, except for the special extra touches which had been added that made our stay even better. The location of the property is one of its best assets, it is in a quiet area, yet only a very short walk away from both the bus and train stops. This location gives you the opportunity to explore the area with such ease and the transport cards which are provided enable free bus and train journeys. There is a bakery literally within a couple of minutes walk which we visited on several days. Both Chamonix and Les Houches are within easy reach for restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Before we travelled Sarah had provided a lot of information on activities and trips in the area, there is a folder of information in the chalet too which has brochures and timetables. We all felt really at home in the chalet, there were 9 of us staying there and it accommodated us all well. The open plan kitchen lounge/diner is an ideal space for a group and the bedrooms and bathrooms are all very nicely appointed. We all had such a great time at La Moraine and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Summary: Richard & Sarah made this a very delightful visit. The attention to detail, including the pre and post visit communication was flawless. We had a bottle of Champagne and a even some dinner waiting for us. After a long journey, we were most happy to see that. The living area was perfect to gather after a long day on the slopes to chat with cheese and wine. The hot tub is very large and was awesome, looking up at the Mont Blanc. The hosts even go so far as emptying it out after each guest - was most impressed by that. I would only recommend having a 4x4 or chains if heavy snow is expected. You MUST get your skis & boots if renting from Bertrand in Les Houches @Ski-Perf. We had an awesome stay, and thanks for dialing in the massive snow dumps, we all enjoyed that! Was a gentleman's trip, so now have to come back with spouses & families - Hope to be back! Highly recommend. Thank you Richard & Sarah.

Summary: We were delighted to find somewhere so close to the busy life of Chamonix town centre, but hidden away in such a beautiful location. The views are totally stunning. Summary: The Chalet La Moraine was perfect in every way. Size, location, cleanliness, facilities and so much useful information from Sarah the owner. Just outside Chamonix it was so quiet but close enough to walk to places to eat and drink.

Summary: We had a superb stay at the chalet, it was a real home from home. We hired a car but ended up using public transport most of the time as the bus and train stops were really close and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and the kids did not want to come home.

Summary: We stayed at the Chalet with extended family and everyone had a great time. The chalet was perfect for us. The owners, Richard and Sarah, were very helpful, giving us lots of useful info before our stay. The chalet is really well equipped. The views are incredible and we especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub looking up at the mountains. There are a couple of restaurants close by. We walked to the Rocky Pop restaurant and had a wonderful family meal. We also found an incredible bakery very close to the chalet. We all had a great time and have already recommended the chalet to friends.
