You are just a 5-minute drive from the beach and 10-15 minutes from Mustang Island State Park and Padre Island National Seashore. Plenty of shopping and restaurants right around the corner and unlimited fishing spots available!

-After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID.
-DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO PETS. There is a $100 per pet fee for all stays 7 days or less, $200 for stays 8-29 days and $300 for stays of 30 days or greater. In addition there is also a pet-cleaning fee of $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days and $100 for stays of 30+ days.

Summary: Our Cabana had just a few thing they should be aware of but nothing that would keep us from coming back. In master bathroom the shower door is not on track, the sink was stopped up and he kept having to plunder. All 3 TV remotes were extremely hard to use, the tv box in living room was hanging down. The couch was very hard to set on without falling in. The house was very clean and we enjoyed getting away and the pool was very nice. From my pet she wished there was grass as he had a very rough. It was on day 3 she finally gave in on the rocks. Which let me say we made sure to clean up after her.

Reviewer Comments: The cottage was in an excellent location, just a short drive to the beach. It was very clean and the kitchen was nicely stocked, a plus since we cooked a lot of meals at the house. The yard was a nice bonus as we had to bring our dog, last minute. The staff was amazing as we had locked ourself out as soon as we arrived.The door locks automatically behind you. There is a note at the door but I saw it after the fact, lol. I would suggest clearing out all past codes as our 6yo son put in a random code and it unlocked the door! All in all, a great stay!

First night we weren't able to watch TV in the bedrooms. They weren't working. TV in living room, was working and then the voice went off. I called and reported and was told that the next morning someone would come out and check them. My niece and sister were able to see a movie om my niece's IPad. The following morning turned coffee maker on and went to take a shower, glad my niece was up and in the kitchen, because the coffee maker spilled all the water on the counter. Glad that I had taken a few instant packages of instant coffee. We left to go to the beach, when I received a call from the repairman that he was there and going to check the TV's. I told him that the TV in the living room, worked and the one in the master bedroom also had worked that morning. So he only needed to check the one in the Guest bedroom. I also mentioned to him about the coffee maker and while he was resetting the TV, he texted and said he would go back to the office and get us another coffee maker. When we got back, all the TV's were working and he had brought a new coffee maker for us. We used it that evening, when our friends came over to visit. Everyone liked the cabana. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend Gulf Coast Cabana's to our family and friends. Can't wait until our next time. Thank you so much.

Some updates to consider, new patios furniture, maybe a leather couch since pets are allowed and new shower heads. After a day at the beach taking a shower was a long process due to the water pressure. The place was clean and roomy and would stay here again up dates. Great location and pretty safe area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow! I was blown away by the service from our stay. Although it is not on the water it is 5 mins from the beach front. Quiet, beautifully decorated town of bright colored vacation homes. As we got there we parked so near the entrance is assigned parking and opened the private gate. I loved that we had our own space. Directions to open the door worked the first time. The house if spotless, clean and updated. There was everything we needed for dishes, towels, blankets, pillows it was perfect. TV’s in every room, walk in shower in guest bath, master was gorgeous and spacious. So when we couldn’t get Wi-Fi we called our rental company and they walked us through getting signed in within 5 minutes. Another time we were locked out, phones, keys and purses inside. We actually walked down to an occupied house and asked if they could help. The gentleman called our rental company and then handed us the phone so they could get us in our rental. This is one of the most friendly places we have ever stayed. The gentleman owned his home and I hope he knows how much that meant to us. Will definitely always use this rental company!
