Summary: We've just returned from a wonderful visit to the charming town of Hood River along the stunning Columbia River Gorge. We had a lovely stay at this centrally located home - only a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Hood River with easy access to the highway. We were in Hood River for the wedding of our son and appreciated the large home where we and our three adult children (sibs of the groom) could comfortably stay for four days during the wedding activities. The mountain view is beautiful and a stream next to the house is unique. The large yard would be great during warm weather stays - we didn't have time to really take advantage of it. But there's a play structure for kids as well as a good size lawn area. Additionally, the deck off the main level is perfect for outdoor time. The bedrooms were comfortable and the downstairs guest suite, with its own bathroom and living space, offered additional privacy for our daughter. The upstairs bedrooms share one small but fully equipped bathroom and we ended up using the main level bathroom (which is very nice and larger) as one of our main bathrooms. We didn't need to use the additional downstairs space, maybe it's converted into a large bonus room. But it would be perfect if school age or preteen kids are in your group. The kitchen is well equipped. Our host Amy was easily accessible for a few questions we had and quickly responded during our stay.

Summary: This property, location and home were perfectly and accurately represented. We were in Hood River for our son’s wedding and the house was exactly what we had hoped for in accommodating our young adult kids and our year and a half granddaughter. Thank you so much. We had a great experience.

Summary: We are thankful to have found such a nice place that we could gather with multiple generations as we attended a family wedding. Amy, the host was easy to deal with. The best part was the well appointed kitchen and the beautiful adjoining great room. I could have easily given this a five star but the only tricky part was the bathroom situation which wasn’t clear on the description or I didn’t catch it. The best bathroom in the house was on the first floor and there was no bedroom on that floor. The upstairs bathroom with the most rooms had a very high tub/ shower that was hard to get into. This was only a problem bc of the age of our guest and the fact we were often showering all at the same time for the different wedding events. My 87 year old mom ended up sleeping down stairs but using the 1st floor bathroom to shower which wasn’t ideal but manageable.

Summary: The CreekSide house design easily accommodated our extended family of 10. And the open kitchen dining living area was a great gather place for everyone at our family reunion. The rushing waters of the creek softly put us to sleep every night. Well done!

Summary: We loved the house. It was great for a big multigenerational family. The downstairs rooms gave kids a place to play and the play structure in back was good for them. It needs some repair to be totally safe. The kitchen was well outfitted. The stream was much-loved.
