Located in a quiet hamlet only 5 mins drive to the local boulangerie and a pizzeria restaurant at the campsite in the village.
Swimming lakes are approx. 15 mins drive and local town with restaurants, banks, tabac and shops and supermarkets 10km away.
Plenty of good walks and cycle routes to enjoy. There are some beautiful châteaux to visit and caves to explore as well as brocantes and vide greniers in the lovely villages surrounding the local area.

Summary: Sometimes it really does pay off to go somewhere which is just a little further away from motorways, big cities etc. This house is truly relaxing and quiet. And yet, there are plenty of towns, markets, swimming lakes etc within a 10-15 kilometre distance. We travelled with our three kids and had such a great time - playing games, taking little trips to nearby swimming lakes, and barbecuing into the night. We felt like we had total privacy but yet the host couple were never far away if we needed them. Perfect. I think we’ll be back. Thanks, Nikolaj and family

Summary: We (two adults with 2 children: 14 and 6 years) stayed at this beautiful place for 5 days. When we arrived we found some welcome drinks in the fridge and also some fresh eggs from the chickens of the hosts. These hosts, David and Judy, live nearby and were extremely kind and flexible! They leave you completely on your own if you like but give you any support and valuable tipps if you need it. The house is a lovely home and we were the very first guests there. There are two bedrooms, a kitchen with everything needed, and a living room with TV & DVD. We started each day with a breakfast on the sunny terrace. We made use of the new swimming pool and our son jumped all the time on the trampoline. There are also some really nice swimming lakes around and some beautiful villages and larger cities (e.g. Limogues and Périgeux) with all kinds of shops. We recommend visiting the wonderful "vide greniers". The nature in this region is simply stunning! Our days ended with a short walk in this calm area. Overall this was one of our most beautiful holidays with by far the most wonderful hosts. When we got home yesterday we instantly booked the next stay there! We say "thank you David and Judy for your extraordinary hospitality and see you soon!" Christian, Anja, Mona and David.
