Summary: As early risers our favorite time was watching the day begin from our comfy chairs on the screened porch. Everything about the property was perfect and we all had a wonderful time and highly recommend this lovely home.

Summary: We had a wonderful weekend at this home. It was perhaps the best appointed home we've ever rented. Lots of dishware (matching!) and cookware. Nice furnishings and plenty of room for 3 girlfriends to have decent size bedrooms and baths. Exquisite landscaping and views. Across the street from a ferry that leaves when you're ready--Uber Ferry. Restaurants and shops nearby. Would definitely return. Thank you Connie.

Summary: This is the place you go when you want to get away from it all. The screen-in front porch offers bug-free viewing of the river with its nearby ferry. The birds are happy and the flowers are gorgeous in this small town of about 25 homes 15 minutes from the main highway. There is no Wi-Fi and cell reception is a challenge and that might be what it takes for some of us to put away our phones and have a nice chat instead. Oh, and Connie's home is simply wonderful...a touch formal with much coziness and warmth . Lots of modern in a charming, historical home. The one star from perfect is just for others to understand that nothing is nearby, including Wi-Fi. We were happy to replace that modern convenience for the ferry ride and rocking chairs on the porch

Summary: This is such a wonderful place to stay on the river!! The accommodations are fabulous!! I would recommend this place to anyone. It was close enough to Salisbury and the restaurants in the area are fabulous!! Loved the house and the historical part!! Stocked with lots of items for us to use. I will be back again for sure!!

Summary: My family and I had an awesome time during our very short visit. I cannot remember the last time I felt so relaxed and stress free. Everyone on the trip and our dinner guests (family) enjoyed the scenery and the beautiful house. The house was very clean and have all that may be needed during the stay. It was a breath of fresh air and a step back from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. Connie was always very responsive and worked with us in regards to availability. My father in law is scheduled for a very serious procedure and was feeling very down, uncertain, depressed, and sad. This trip meant a lot to him. Having him and the rest of the family over for dinner, conversations, companionship, and the beautiful view was a simple cure to all the madness. Thank you Connie for sharing your home with us. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and will definitely return again soon. Naleenee

Summary: I have to echo many of the earlier reviews. While our main purpose for the trip was to get in some beautiful fall cycling, including the Sea Gull Century, some of our favorite moments were sitting on the porch and watching the river at both sunrise and sunset. It is so peaceful. Connie's house has everything you could want in a rental and is in a charming location. Already wondering when there is time to go back!
