The Hideout is also conveniently located within a few minutes to the zoo, horseback riding, paintball, driving range, and a water park. Approximately ten (10) minutes to a state park. Lake Wallenpaupack (THE BIG LAKE---yes it’s HUGE!!!!) is 10 minutes away and offers boat/tubing rentals, jet skiing, and marina facilities. We are just 15 minutes from great hiking at the Varden Conservation or Lacawanna Nature Preserve. What are you waiting for….go out and explore!!!!
Additional fees charged per the Community for certain amenity rentals: lift tickets, ski & snowboard rentals, ice skating rentals, golf rentals, and boat/kayak rentals.

Summary: Great relaxing stay for the Labor Day weekend. Host was very helpful and flexible. House was perfect for family + dog, with huge yard full of fun additions. Very close to lake, boat ramps, beach club and nearby attractions. Will be back!

Summary: First of all, the owners were great. They actually CARED about our vacation being a success. Communication was always quick and informative. They were very attentive. These folks literally saved our vacation. The home was beautiful. Spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. A very pretty home on a wooded lot near the lake. Great hot tub and fire pit area. We loved everything about this home and we hope to return. Thank you George and Jessica. So much.

Summary: Felt like a dream because snapped back into reality once we returned home. The Hideout and this particular home so clean and cozy, home away from home. We all enjoyed the fresh air and activities. Hope we can stay longer next time to enjoy more.

Summary: We came for a family vacation. The property was nice and it was very clean. We enjoyed the amenities even though you have to pay attention to the times for opening and closing as they do vary. The pools and beach were nice and we would definitely return. The host was great! She communicated and checked in on us to see how the visit went. I really appreciated how easy the check in process and use of the facilities was. Overall, great trip and property.

Summary: House is very cute and updated nicely. Anything you could need is in the kitchen even stone pizza board for oven. Beds were comfortable including the sofa pullout beds. Community is nice and has pedestrian lane to walk/run/along main road. Lake water warm and beach area nice as well as pool which was all only a short drive away. Tiki bar not open every day which is surprising for the summer. But fear not, there was a blender at the house and we made our own Pina coladas!
