Summary: We very much enjoyed our second (11 day) visit Michael's cottage. The living areas are clean, spacious and have character, and the kitchen is well set out and equipped. It's a great place to read a book in front of the fire. The local pub and the former pub-come-restaurant are also very handy if you don't feel like cooking. We'd happily visit again.

Summary: Michael's house was full of interesting objects and books! We felt that an instruction book for the stove would have been helpful as we have never used an induction stove (and still do not as we were unable to use it) The dishwasher tablet was not released prior to our stay and despite cleaning the old one out, the new one still was not released. We did try to contact Michael to alert him about it.

Summary: Lovely rural escape minutes walk from the pub.. what more could you want?! Property was clean, comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Loves the views of the countryside and old church. Michael was very accommodating. Thanks very much.

Summary: My partner and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 night stay at the cottage. The cottage is fantastic, the main room is spacious, with a well-equiped kitchen, fascinating array of books and is very well-insulated (the clean wood-burning fire is easy to keep going). It's a very short walk to the Argyle Inn and not much further to the Taralga Hotel and the increasing number of small shops / cafes emerging at that end of town. We'd love to come back.

Summary: We had a nice overnight here with another couple and our little boy. The cottage is cosy and well equipped. The portacot supplied was handy.

Summary: The property is so quiet, rural, yet easy to walk into the small town. Perfect for a family with teens who don't mind sleeping in the annexe. Probably not suited to young children. The living/kitchen/dining area is huge and open plan, with a large variety of books to browse and international trinkets and paraphernalia to wonder at. The kitchen has every utensil you could ever need. Towels and face washers supplied for each guest. There is no wifi supplied and no Optus reception for phone/internet in the whole town, so come prepared to be off the grid and relax in gorgeous surroundings.
