Sitting in two acres of mature and attractive gardens with swimming pool (heated during the summer months) and large sun deck, two outside eating areas, a tennis court and croquet lawn. Accessed from a private lane which leads onto miles of bridleways and walks.
Dating in parts back to the 16th century the house offers all the charm of an older building with beams and inglenook fireplace with all modern finishes for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Offering multiple reception rooms to cater for different age groups or families, including a games area with a pool table and darts. The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms: a master bedroom & en-suite, a twin bedroom with en-suite (bath has secondary access to make it a shared bathroom) and two further bedrooms (singles with additional day bed/sofa bed) sleeping six-eight . The detached annex, an extension of the house, or separate accommodation and living area for another family has a further two bedrooms, which sleep four.
Fernhurst, a popular village with church and pub on the green, grocers and pharmacy, surrounded by open countryside with endless walks and various fantastic pubs. Haslemere, Midhurst, Petworth and Chichester are all close by for exploring with varied shopping, antiques, theatres and galleries. Sporting opportunities abound with Goodwood’s horseracing and motor track, many golf courses, polo at Cowdray and sailing on the coast.
