Summary: We usually spend Labor Day weekend up in Coldspring, because our mom has some property on Lake Livingston, which is nice to visit. We've never stayed in town, but decided to give it a try. This is a charming little house with a rich and interesting history. The location is so convenient to everything in downtown Coldspring. The house is well equipped with everything one would need for a nice weekend. There was a small "Christmas in July" event going on around the courthouse square that is literally right across the street. There was live music we enjoyed from the front porch of the house. At night, we walked to the local restaurants for dinner. The town is very quiet after 9pm, as everything shuts down. Sunday morning, we walked to a nearby church for worship. The owners are extremely nice and communicative, and we would definitely come back again!

Summary: The Browder House is just exactly like advertised. It is like a step back in time, except there was air conditioning. Reading the history of the home, that has been in the same family since 1928 was great. Trying to figure out the original layout of the home was like putting a puzzle together. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Summary: The owner was one of the most pleasant ppl to work with. The house is fully equipped. It was a life saver since my children were at a summer camp about 10 min away. It was clean and the thing we loved the most was the history of the home. It was touching to be staying in a house once full of family and love in the early 1900s.

Summary: I highly recommend staying here. We came to town at the worst possible time. With massive flooding and storms in the area but the house, property and owners were perfect. We had a great time, the house is very cozy and calming. The owner goes above and beyong in making the house and guests feel welcome.

Summary: We were in Coldsprings for the Rodeo School. This home was the perfect location and so comfortable. Debbie is the best. If you need a place that feels at home with a bit of classic charm this is it. We definitely will be back!!

Summary: We were in town for a family wedding and it was the perfect house. I would highly recommend staying here during the Christmas season. The house was beautifully decorated inside and out for Christmas. The town square, which is just steps outside, is also decorated and the whole experience feels like you are walking into a Christmas movie. The location is ideal, because you can easily walk to the shops and restaurants in town, which we did for drinks, appetizers and breakfast. I found the owner did a wonderful job decorating and furnishing the home. It felt like they put real care and love into the details and it wasn't just furnished for a rental house. The house has history and it was so charming to stay in. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
