Enjoy this peaceful cottage with a park like setting on the Rifle River. Take in beautiful views of the river and wildlife.
We have several kayaks that guests can use to enjoy a relaxing trip down the river or one of the several lakes nearby.
There are two fire pits, a larger one by the river and one next to the house with firewood provided for your use.
The house is beautiful furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen. There are two comfortable queen beds and twin bunk bends with plenty of room for all to enjoy.

Summary: This was our second time staying at this beautiful property in just six months—and once again, it did not disappoint! The setting along the Rifle River is absolutely peaceful, quiet, and stunning—exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. The place is spotless and incredibly well-kept, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.What truly sets this VRBO apart, though, are the hosts. They are hands-down the best we've ever had—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Any time we had a question or small concern, they replied almost instantly, making us feel completely taken care of.We’re already looking forward to our next trip back. This is quickly becoming our go-to spot to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend!

Summary: We just love this home more each time we stay! So comfortable and relaxing. The 'feel like' temperature outside was '14' but the home was warm and cozy. We watched the wildlife attracted to the bird feeder as well as the flowing river. Everything imaginable to prepare and cook a large meal.Thanks for renting to us.

Summary: We had a great time staying on the river house was well equipped. My grand kids loved being able to kayack or fish. The fire pit by the river was very nice plenty of chairs and wood. We will definitely be back!

Summary: The property was awesome. It was extremely clean and listing was spot on in description. We enjoyed the Rifle River along the back of the property and the multiple fire pits. It was so quiet and relaxing it was just what we all needed for a perfect fall weekend getaway. Besides the campfire and river the available kayaks were the next best thing. Kellie and Eugene were great hosts and and responded quickly and promptly to any questions prior to booking and after booking. The place was great and we as a family are already talking about going back at some point in the near future.

Summary: My husband and I rented the property for our 15th anniversary trip. It was the two of us and our golden doodle. Everything was fantastic, described, and represented perfectly in the listing. It is in a nice quiet area where one side of the property is wooded. There are neighbors on the other side, but not too close at all. The property is right on the river as described, it is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We walked up the river, as the water was shallow enough. We also really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs and had the most perfect weather for it! It was the quiet, relaxing, and beautiful trip that we were hoping for! We highly recommend this property and would most definitely rent It again in the future!

Summary: We had a great time, perfect, beautiful location on the river! Tubes are not included like it was stated in the listing so we did have to buy our own. There is a pet fee as well but worth it because they provide a little fenced in area for your pup! Our dog had a blast swimming and running around. We did not use the kayaks but they were available for use which was nice. We dropped our tubes in at Kenneth Rd and floated back to the house, it was the perfect trip. There was plenty of firewood to use, we brought our own as well. Beds and couches were super comfy. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time, im sure we will be back!
