Summary: Very basic. Light in bedroom windows and noisy street, but met our needs for one night.

Summary: Although we brought our toddler's old Nuna to sleep in, there was room to place the Vrbo mattress on the floor to use as a toddler bed. If your child needs darkness to sleep, I recommend bringing blackout curtains because the store light from across the street is fairly bright. If you have a mobile toddler, bring a pressure mounted baby gate for the basement entrance in-between the kitchen and living room. Pleasantly surprised to find big toys and plush animals in the kid's room. Kid's room has 2 outlets, we moved the dressers in front to block access. The best part of the property was the backyard because the sun hits the patio and yard in the morning. We enjoyed walking around the spacious yard and basking in the sunshine with Timmy's (from across the street).

Summary: Cleaniliness more or less ok, dishwasher was in the listing, but doesnt exist. The Equipment/interior seems old and used and is not in a good condition. The stairway to the basement, which is not part of the listing, is in the middle of the room and not secured. Children or elder people could easily fall down.

Summary: Host is responsive and quick to deliver additional supplies when requested, also msg us to make sure things are ok. The place has the basic kitchen supplies and beddings etc as listed. Location is convenient, 30 mins from Ottawa, stores/restaurants within walking distance. The house itself is a disappointment though. There is false advertising! The listing indicates 2 bathroom, but it is only 1.5 bathroom. It only has one full bathroom, the other washroom is in the basement in an unfinished corner of the house! A toilet and a stained basement utility sink are there but no shower/bath. A full garbage bag was left in that washroom, as well as other cleaning supplies strewed all over. The AC is only available in the living room and not inside bedrooms, and ceiling fan was finicky in one of the bedroom. The dishwasher in the listing is not there! The house is best described as amateur DIY renovation in progress! Poor craftsmanship throughout - patchy paint, unlevelled doors, cracked tiles, wobbly kitchen island, holes in wall, vents cover with no central ventilation system in placed, peeling vinyl flooring, etc. There are multiple reno mistakes that would make it unsafe for children - sharp screw sticking out from the washroom cabinet, bathroom mirror leaning but not secured on the wall. The house gives a feeling of an unfinished reno project with used appliances/furnitures/cabinets/building supplies/kitchen supplies thrown in to make it a guest house; livable but not comfy

Summary: Great place to stay. Everything you could need was available. Very comfortable. So many businesses are right across the street, extremely convenient. I believe the home is going through some renovations so there was a few areas of dust but 100% not a problem. Will definitely book again!! :)
