Antico Borgo i Cancelli is made up of 80 holiday homes. They are spread across the estate in rows of 4 or 6 link-detached houses. The holiday homes are furnished in a neat and simple design and have a telephone and a safe. We have three house types to offer. One is suitable for two people (IT-50035-06), one is for four people (IT-50035-04) and the largest is for four to five people (IT-50035-05). All apartments have their own partially covered terrace with seating.
Only small dogs can be booked on request.

Summary: Prima locatie. Verzorgde omgeving, schoon en lekker rustig gelegen. Florence, Pisa, Lucca dichtbij genoeg voor dag tripjes.

Summary: Aankomst geen permanentie. Gearriveerd om 14 u en receptie ging pas open om 15 u. Accommodatie Sober, niet echt rein (er wordt niet gekuist met water en zeep), uitzicht kamer zicht op een gang met boven een rooster van bovenliggend appartement met geluidshinder tot gevolg. Geen geluiddempende muren. Gesnurk (e.a.) van boven of zijdelingse buren is net iets wat je niet wil horen. leefruimte/ terras zicht op bomen, geen vergezicht. Omgeving mooi maar te ver afgelegen van bezienswaardigheden

Summary: De aankomst was prima. De receptie was makkelijk te vinden en we werden goed geholpen. De gastvrouw kon goed Engels. De accommodatie viel wat tegen, het was niet schoon en het rook er vies. We hebben veel last gehad van muggen. Er was in de omgeving niks te doen. De boodschappen deden wij in marradi, dat was prima. Verder zijn we met de trein naar Florence geweest, dat is zeker een aanrader!

Summary: Aankomst op dit park: Uitstekende uitleg en benadering van de receptioniste. De omgeving is in mijn ogen adembenemend. Prachtig heuvel/berglandschap. Slingerende wegen doorkruisen de natuur, waar je niet moet rekenen dat je snel van A naar B kunt gaan. Het park zelf is prachtig aangelegd en straalt rust uit. Het huisje waar wij in verbleven is eenvoudig ingericht, koelkast met een klein vriesvakje, 3 pits gas en afzuigkap. Kleine tv ( niet aangehad ). Redelijk grote slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed. Het bedlinnen is heerlijk om er onder te slapen. De kleine slaapkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden zijn prima. Het restaurant en gemeenschappelijke ruimte rondom het zwembad ademen gezelligheid en rust. Het zwembad is prima en geeft uitzichten over de omgeving die mij nog lang bij zullen blijven. Het bedienende personeel is heel vriendelijk,hartelijk en attent. De prijzen van de kaart in het restaurant zijn iets duurder dan in het dorp Marradi wat een 2,6 km vanaf het park ligt. Echter is de kwaliteit van de meeste gerechten goed. Dinsdagavond is er muziek en kun je dansen. Er komt ook lokale bevolking die gezellig meedoen. Je kunt je culinaire hart ophalen in de lokale winkeltjes in Marradi en andere dorpen in de omgeving. Zoveel lokale lekkernijen, worsten, kazen, wijnen en fruit. Firenze (Florence) is het beste te bezoeken per trein. Bij de receptie kun je treinkaarten regelen. Dit jaar waren er werkzaamheden aan het spoor, hierdoor zijn we advies met de auto naar Borgo San Lorenzo gegaan en hebben daar de trein kunnen nemen. Wat een geluk, want hierdoor hebben we nog meer kunnen zien van de prachtige Appenijen en vergezichten toen we de bergpas met de auto zijn opgereden. Zeker een aanrader.

Summary: Mooi gelegen vakantiepark met uitzicht over de bergen. De vakantiewoning was prima qua grootte en indeling, de keuken in de vakantiewoning was erg eenvoudig. Het eten in het restaurant op het park was lekker en goed geprijsd. In de lounge WiFi met voldoende snelheid. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Daar het park in een bergachtig gebied ligt zijn omliggende bezienswaardigheden wel even rijden. Het nabijgelegen dorpje Palazzuolo is gezellig.

Summary: Eerste indruk was goed, zag er allemaal mooi, schoon en goed verzorgd uit. Leuk huisje, redelijk compleet al liet de inventaris wel wat te wensen over. Geen snijplank, een waterkoker waarvan de stekker niet in het stopcontact paste. De verloopstekker die we kregen van de receptie paste ook niet. In het dorp een andere gekocht die wel paste en daar netjes geld voor terug gekregen van de receptie. Zwembad was leuk, schoon ook. Ook was er een leuke overdekte ruimte die gedeeltelijk was ingericht als restaurant en gedeeltelijk met lekkere loungebanken en een tv. En een prachtig uitzicht over de bergen! In de omgeving echt heel weinig te doen. 15 min rijden naar Marradi waar weinig te doen was, Palazuolo nog minder. Dat was het grote nadeel van deze locatie, er is echt geen moer te doen in de nabije omgeving. Wel heel leuk om te doen, met de trein van Marradi naar Florence. Enkeltje kost €6,90 en je bent er in een ruim uur. Al met al, een leuke week gehad, maar langer dan een week hadden we ons niet vermaakt.

Summary: Heel leuk,verzorgd vakantiepark.Kleinschalig en zalig rustig.Eten in het restaurant was heel lekker en zeker niet overdreven qua prijs.1 minpuntje:het zwembad was onaangenaam koud,normaal went het achter een tijdje maar hier ijskoud.Maar dat is het enige dat we slecht kunnen zeggen over Antico Borgo/ I Cancelli. De privacy en het geweldige uitzicht vanop ons terras is dan weer het absolute hoogtepunt! Aanrader dus voor wie van alle drukte weg wil en houdt van wat cultuur opsnuiven.l Pisa,Firenze,Lucca,...)
