Located in the charming fishing village of El Port de la Selva, on the Costa Brava, "Giraluna" is a beautiful rustic-style villa with lots of character. It is situated among pine trees on the top of a hillside and enjoys spectacular views over the village, the bay and the mountains. The location is very tranquil, just 30 meters from the entrance to the protected reserve of the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, though very close to the centre of the village and the beaches, easily accessible by car and on foot.
"Giraluna" has a capacity for seven people distributed between 3 double bedrooms with their respective bathrooms, two with panoramic views. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is spacious and bright, and the dining room, elevated from the living room, overlooks a charming Andalusian-style patio. The house has several terraces and a roof terrace offering 360-degree views over the bay, the Natural Park, the unspoiled beach of Tamariua and the open sea, which is ideal for sunbathing, enjoying sunset drinks or gazing at the stars.
The garage can accommodate one car, although there is additional parking outside.

Summary: You will sleep well; quiet, dark, and cool with the a/c or outdoor breezes. Rent the smallest car you can fit into, the streets of Port de la Selva are for small cars. Lovely well appointed home.

Summary: Arrived at villa 5th September 2015 for 10 nights and we all were blown away with the views and the fantastic location of Giraluna, the Villa was perfect and all rooms were very large and our party of 7 found it very spacious , the decor was top class everything you could wish for your stay. Anyone going for a holiday to Giraluna Villa will be very pleased they did. Mr Brian James United Kingdom

Summary: My wife and I along with another couple enjoyed six wonderful days in "Giraluna" We found this beautiful home exactly as described as to location, layout and facilities. It was clean, well maintained and the views... fantastic. We especially enjoyed evening visits to watch the fishing fleet unload the day's catch and the follow-on auction. Dining opportunities abound but whatever you do, do not miss Monterrey!

Summary: It has been a great experience. The property is fantasic, with breath-taking views and in a calm and peaceful location, though near the village. In fact, Port de la Selva is a great location, very near from many sites that must be visited. Mercedes and Marta made our staying easy and comfortable, like if we were in our own house. The property is basically full-equiped and in perfect conditions, so having a fantastic holidays is just up to you!!!

Summary: Giraluna is a lovely villa overlooking the beautiful bay of El Port de la Selva on one side, and the National Park of Cap de Creus on the other. Giraluna is generously spaced, elegantly furnished and fully equipped. We loved evening meals on the terrace overlooking the sea at sunset. We received full information from the owner when we paid our deposit, and were welcomed very nicely to the villa upon arrival. Highly recommended.

Summary: We spent two wonderful weeks in the house Giraluna.The house itself is beautifully constructed and has a very tasteful garden withsome places to recover. The best is of course the unique location with stunning views of the sea and the countryside. We have enjoyed this every day and especially every evening when teh sun went down. The house was very clean and well equipped. On hot days and nights we were very happy about the air conditioning. The village is not far away. You can go there on foot. There are all necessary shops and good restaurants. Also the beaches are not far away. You can choose between a sandy beach in the village and a stone beach in a small bay. All in all we had a wonderful 2 weeks in "Giraluna". We would come back any time.

Summary: Extraordinary holiday in El Port de la Selva and more particularly Giraluna! What to say, except that this place is beautiful and magical, this small authentic fishing village, wonderful coves, with a mix cheerfulness and tranquility. We were totally impressed by this house, Giraluna. It is situated high on all sides, one side overlooking the harbor of Port de la Selva and the other side overlooking the Natural Reserve. There, bathed in nature, surrounded by pine trees, fig trees, flowers, we spent 15 awesome days. Its terraces, indoor barbecue, layout, space... As parents we were staying in the room above, a kind of tower where the view, privacy and tranquility were splendid! Another important thing for us was the ease to go to the village (3mn watch in hand) as well as access to beaches (also 3mn), a particular favourite of ours beingTamariua, just behind the house, a haven of peace, beauty and nature. In short, we fell in love with this house and this village, we hope to return next year! Last thing, the proximity of Cadaques (20 minutes) is perfect, a stunning location with excellent restaurants and places to party! We are fans of Giraluna !!
