3 Bedroom Cabin in Waverly

Enjoy our cottage on beautiful Kentucky Lake with modern amenities. We have a spectacular view of the lake with a private dock (perfect for fishing or swimming) and a boat ramp with year round access. We have a newly remodeled open den, kitchen (fully equipped), and dining area all with a lake view. We have a hot tub on a lower level patio also with a lake view. The cottage is quiet, secluded. and remote with a covered deck that's perfect for dining and an open deck area for sunning. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, with queen size in master, 2 twin beds in second bedroom, and bunk beds and double size futon in basement/recreation room. We have a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, mixers, dishes, pots, and pans. Our cottage has 3 flat screen TVs with DISH satellite and WiFi. We have 2 fireplaces with gas logs. We have 3 adult kayaks, 2 youth kayaks, and a canoe for our guests to use. We also provide various sizes of life vests for adults and youth. We have a large deck with a gas grill, table, many chairs and a hammock. There's a fire pit in the backyard with a great view, and we provide firewood free for our guests. Enjoy fishing off of our private dock. Eagle tours can be arranged.

Summary: Amazing views of Kentucky Lake and incredible sunsets directly from the back deck. This wonderful home has easy access to the lake via boat ramp, they allow you to use their kayaks, canoes, and life jackets of all different sizes. This place has it all and is very clean. If you forget something random, they have it, and the owners provided their personal phone number incase there any issues. We have a very busy and hectic life currently and it was nice to be able to unwind. The internet is very fast, Master Bed is VERY comfortable, and it is extremely quiet. If you plan on staying, make sure you know how to handle dirt roads or bring a truck. The road in, is part gravel and part dirt.

Summary: We loved our time at the cabin - it's very peaceful and quiet, with a lot of options for hanging out on the huge deck, great hot tub, or down by the lake. Very restful and relaxing, and our two kids enjoyed the wildlife!

Summary: This place is the BEST. Internet - YES more than enough for everyone to do what they wanted all week. Coffee - they have both a K-machine and drip. There were spare filters and whatnot when we arrived. Room - We are a family of four and we like to be separate. Easily done here :) The house was beautiful, the lake access was amazing, it had everything we needed. We went on the water most days, paddled south to a long island full of roosting birds. Herons roosting in the trees, lots of ducks and geese, even big white pelicans. The view is unbelievable, the paddle to the island with the duck blind is good for kids, and we got to bring our dog. She had a great time too! The hosts recommend that you pack in your food since its a thirty minute drive (and not an easy thirty minutes) to the grocery store. This is true! But they did have some extra "for emergency" supplies (soap, salt and pepper, etc.) in case you can't get out for a while. IF YOU BOOK HERE download or print the driving directions that the hosts send you because there will be no signal where you are going and google will send you on some scary detours. And FYI I got into the property just fine but when it was time to leave my car couldn't make it up the hill the way I came. So if you have any doubt at all, when you leave turn left and go around the less steep way out! If you get the chance to stay here, do it!

Summary: This is a great place to stay. We were here in Feb and was very peaceful. However, there is a cabin close by so not sure how quiet it would be in Summer months. Love that it is right on the water and sunsets were beautiful. Would come back for sure
