Enjoy panoramic lake views from this three bedroom, two bath single story home on beautiful Lake Whitney. This family friendly home sleeps up to twelve people, and boasts an in-ground pool and eight person spa. Full amenities and ample parking. Free boat launch nearby on this year round trophy fishing lake. Enjoy s'mores around the fire pit, grilling on the large Weber gas grill, or relax inside by the wood burning fireplace. Enjoy abundant wildlife and frequent bald eagle sightings. We would be happy to help you arrange guided fishing trips, and boat rentals.
Property has steps to the lake, but please note that they are steep, and terrain at the beach area is rugged. Lake Whitney is a flood control lake operated by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. Lake levels fluctuate, at times making beach access impossible. Most boat launches are also closed during flooding. Please note, the beach area is a great spot to hunt fossils, and arrowheads, but should only be used for water activities by very strong swimmers, due to a strong current.

Summary: We loved our stay! The pool was amazing, the house was very tidy, comfortable beds, and plenty of space! Stocked with everything you need! We had such a blast! Speakers for the pool were awesome. Very relaxing, definitely recommend!

Summary: My family enjoyed our stay here. The swimming pool was great. The place is neat and clean. They had snack and smore baskets that added a special touch. Also, had dog biscuits for the dog we brought. We will stay here again next summer.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this Lake Whitney home! We loved the pool, it felt refreshing in the morning and late at nite. It was very nice, liked the walk in feature and the umbrellas around the pool. We drove out to the nearby park, Steel Creek Park, the lake water was very clear and clean there. The home itself was great, it had all the possible appliances you would want and the 2 refrigerators was a nice bonus. The host was great and provided some really nice snacks, including the items to make S'mores. The stocked Kuerig machine was also a plus. The owner texted us to see if everything was ok, and let us know to feel free to text them if we needed anything. Which we didn't because everything looks as it appears on the VRBO website. Sitting outdoors in the evening was very nice, what a view!

Summary: We had a great time at Karen's lake house for a long weekend. It was the perfect setup for two families traveling with children. The house was extremely clean and modern, including recent remodeling. This is a family home, not a full time rental, and you can sense that in the homey feeling of the space. Our group commented that it was one of the most well supplied vacation homes we've visited. Karen was helpful and easy to communicate with leading up to and during our stay.

Summary: It is really kid friendly perfect for families! Beautiful views, we saw an eagle!! Our host was very thoughtful and checked on us. We will book again. Great place and great host! We really enjoyed it. My grandbabies did not want to leave.

Summary: This house is amazing. A group of 10 friends stayed for 3 nights and had the most relaxing, wonderful girls’ trip! Everything we could have possibly needed was in the house, it was comfortable for all 10 of us, the host was responsive to any questions or needs, and if I could give more than 5 stars I would! We are already planning to return next summer!

Summary: PERFECT! My girlfriends and I enjoyed every minute. A lot of time was spent outside.The pool and hot tub were amazing and the view of the lake was awesome. We loved staring at the stars at night and making s’mores. It was so peaceful and the birds and butterflies during the day were so beautiful. The house was immaculate and decorated so cute. The owner had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach towels and checked on us several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I’ve rented a lot of places over the years and this place was by far the BEST!! We definitely will be back!
