6 Bedroom House in Shore, Roaming Shores

Reservations must be 28 days or more.
The full kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, stove, fridge, and stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and basic cookware. There is also a coffee maker, kettle and toaster in the space. There is a large island and a large dining table with seating for 10 people. For outside cooking, there is a propane grill that can be used, and propane is supplied. Also, there is a fire pit with hotdog forks for cooking/roasting marshmallows.
Two full bathrooms are stocked with towels, shampoo and bodywash. There are 6 bedrooms that can sleep up to 14 people.
In the living room, curl up on the large sectional in front of the tv. Enjoy the feeling of being back to nature with the large windows looking onto wooded front/side yard and cove view from the backyard – you might even see a deer.
This is the perfect place to get back to nature with the family.
The Lake - Unfortunately, this rental does not come with a boat and no private boats or PWC are allowed on the lake. However, there are two paddle boards, two kayaks, inflatable tubes, and a lily pad that can be used.
Rental Agreement/Lease - All rental guests must sign a standard rental Agreement/Lease. This will be emailed to you upon making the reservation and must be signed prior to arrival. You will not be given a door code or granted access to the property without signing the Rental Agreement/Lease.
Guest Access
The house can be accessed using a smart keypad, and I will provide the door code prior to arrival. All rooms in the house are accessible to guests.
Other things to note
- There is a queen size washer and dryer on-site in the garage.
- The house does not have central A/C but there are three portable units that are included
- Enjoy high speed internet
- There are two long folding tables that can be used for outside entertaining
- There is a ping pong table, set of corn boards located in the garage.
- There is a wood burning fireplace in the house, that is currently not working. So please do not use.

Summary: Our family wanted a place to relax and get some R&R prior to school starting back up. We really enjoyed the space we had. We used the dining table every day for our dinners. The view of the lake was beautiful from the house . The guys enjoyed fishing, and us ladies enjoyed relaxing on the dock. Great home, hope to be able to return

Summary: Very beutiful place and lake. Stores close by. Lake super relaxing to float on. Totally enjoyed our stay Internet slow due to a lot of devices but not terrible as who wants internet when you habe such a lovely lake to enjoy!

Summary: The Roaming Shores House was a great location for our brief visit to Ohio. Close to the attractions around Geneva on the Lake (our 9 and 10-year-old enjoyed time at Adventure Land approx. 20-min away) …Lake Erie is beautiful! The house sits on a private lake, and with many steps down to the dock …amenities were an added bonus for our stay. The kayaks and paddle boards kept the kids occupied, and the fishing was great (with the exception of early morning and daytime hours due to some construction being done in the water by the adjacent worksite of sorts). The home is exactly as pictured and described, is tastefully decorated, and plenty of linens, bath, and beach towels were provided. The a/c units kept the house comfortable and an abundance of cameras covering the property provided security. The only little glitch was checking in. Due to our long commuting distance we were unsure of our exact arrival time so being an hour early the house was locked and our access code was not working. However, very quick communication with the host allowed him to unlock the door remotely for us. Overall this was a nice stay in Ohio - as pictured and described in the listing.

Summary: Was really impressed with this property! The house was the perfect layout for a larger group stay. It was REALLY convenient having kayaks, paddle boards, etc provided! We were a little nervous about the AC units vs central AC in the middle of July, but the units worked great and the house was cool the whole weekend! No complaints, would definitely return for another stay!!

Summary: This is exactly what my family needed, a lot to do around the house like grilling, fishing and kayaking. The house was clean and amazing we were greeted with a personal note and a bottle wine. The host left us a lot of logs for the fire pit which came amazing after a long day, we just sat around the fire and unwind. The kitchen is great and their dining table is amazing. Will definitely be back.

Summary: We were going to be in the area to visit an ill family member so we decided to book this place and make it a mini vacay. We were not disappointed! There was something fun for everyone - from my 2 year old grandson to my 87 year old mother in law. We fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, pedal boated - all of which was included with the rental! We cooked dinner on the grill stocked with propane. At night we made a fire in the Solo stove with firewood, both of which was also provided. Cannot forget the view - Dining room giant picture window, back balcony and backyard overlooked the beautiful lake! I would most definitely rent again!

Summary: We were thrilled to stay in this lovely home and have all of our family in from out of town to celebrate with us. Extreme weather conditions made it challenging but we enjoyed the spacious home. It was well equipped and we can only imagine how fun it would be to come back when we could be doing outdoor activities. There was a garage full of equipment!
