Newly built luxury 4,500 square foot, four-season lakefront home on Lake Sunapee. Situated in a quiet cove with southern exposure facing Mt. Sunapee, all three levels of this 6 bedroom/4 bath home provide majestic views of the lake creating a perfect all-season getaway.
The main floor encompasses a family room with log fireplace and dining room which is adjacent to a spacious kitchen with high end appliances. Additionally, there are two bedrooms (queen and full)and a powder room with shower. The mudroom offers plenty of closet and hanging space and is right next to the full service laundry room and two car garage.
The upstairs has three bedrooms--two oversized with full views of the lake from the highest point in the bay. Master bedroom(king) has walk in closet, office and full master bath including separate shower and tub. The other two bedrooms (queen and twins) share a full hall bath. The expansive lower level with 10-foot ceilings offers large screen t.v sitting areas, and bedroom (queen) with bathroom. This finely crafted home accented with gorgeous trim and brazilian cherry flooring also features a spacious deck as well as a screened-in porch overlooking the lake.
Enjoy the peaceful solitude of the lake while only a quick drive from downtown Sunapee. In addition to being a short distance from the interstate, we are also only 7 miles to Mount Sunapee (15 min.) for skiing in the winter and hiking the other three seasons of the year. Summary: Beautifully outfitted home, handsome interior, and a wonderful screen porch with a postcard view! We were impressed with the way the home was outfitted; the pottery dishes and it was furnished with comfortable and high-end furniture! The view was postcard worthy! The beds were super comfortable and the towels and the bedding where Like staying at a Marriott hotel! We stayed during a very hot week and the only disappointment was that there was not air-conditioning. We live with air conditioning, so it was an adjustment, but we certainly enjoyed the lake water to cool off! Location of the house super and there’s a 4 mile loop for walking which brings you around all the lovely homes on the water. All in all, this rental is fabulous and I highly recommend it!

Summary: Our family has been traveling to Lake Sunapee for many years. This year was such a treat! Our family of 10, including grandparents, had everything they needed in the Howard's home. We are so glad we found this house at lake level, so everyone could easily get to the water without lots of stairs. We brought our boat and the dock was perfect. Adults spent most of our evenings in the screened in porch, while kids played ping pong in the basement. The kitchen and dining area were very big and well-equipped for all the cooking we did. We have always rented houses on the east side of the lake, but really enjoyed this location much more. We walked, biked, or took the boat to the harbor everyday, were a short ride to the sand bar, and close to Mount Sunapee for biking and ropes course. Peter was wonderful to work with, and very responsive. We hope to be back to enjoy this beautiful home again someday!

Summary: The photos on the listing do not do it justice. The place is huge, but also so charming, clean and just well stocked and set up for visitors - little touches like so many towels and so many kitchen tools. Everything worked perfectly and the location, on a quite street, with lake front and dock access, but still walkable to Sunapee Harbor was just the perfect place for a great week on the lake. Thank you!

Summary: House is gorgeous! Immaculate, spacious, well stocked. Cookware was in perfect shape, beds were comfortable, and the owner is super responsive. The views are spectacular, and it is a wonderful location on the lake and walking distance to the harbor. We have stayed in many places in the area, and this has been our absolute favorite.

Summary: I have rented this house for ski season for the past five years, with two other families. We all have kids and we ski at Mount Sunapee. We pretty much spent every weekend and vacation week up at the lake, and we have unbelievably good memories of the entire time. It's convenient (11 minutes) to the mountain, and really an ideal ski house-- complete with a mud room for boots, etc. The house is very well finished-- lots of great woodwork, and solidly constructed. Heating costs were quite reasonable. The house is great for kids, with a large basement with TV, TT and fooseball. The kitchen is fabulous-- each family took turns cooking, and we pretty much ate in every Saturday night and then sat in front of the fire. The view of the lake is amazing, and on occasion I've even cross country skied across the lake to the mountain... and when there's no snow, you can ice-skate off the dock! It's large enough for two or three families to all be there together. The owner (Peter) is fantastic, and was always very responsive for any issues that arose. In short, for a large ski house in Sunapee, you cannot do better. This place is amazing.
