2 Bedroom Cabin in Bark River

The “Great Lake Lodge” is a custom built LOG CABIN! This handcrafted log home sits on the shore of Lake Michigan, just a 15 minute drive to Escanaba. Huge red and white pine logs make up the structure of the home, making the lodge warm, strong, unique and timeless. The lodge lets you experience that rustic camp feeling without sacrificing modern amenities. The large yard gives your family ample room for outdoor play, and relaxation. A large outdoor living space (Deck) for having your morning coffee watching the sun rise directly in front of you, and a firepit for evening campfire and smore making. For our ATV guests, we are just 400 feet from the trail system.
The Lodge is very clean and well kept, with all new linens and furniture throughout. We pay very close attention to every detail when cleaning and sanitizing our home in preparation for our guests.
The Lodge is equipped with Wi-Fi, and a Smart T.V. with Hulu Live and movies. Washer and dryer, dishwasher and gas grill are provided for your convenience. Kayaks are available for rent, please send your inquiry for pricing and availability.
Pets are considered, please inquire first. We will send you our pet policy and if you are able to meet the requirements of our pet policy we will allow 1 pet at our home. A small pet fee is required by our cleaning service if you are bringing a pet.
We know this will be a special place for your family as it has been for ours. The "Great Lake Lodge" has created many memories for our family, and we hope it will for yours as well.

Summary: My family was visiting for a wedding and we found this property beautiful, welcoming and well appointed. The pre check in information was exactly what we needed to make sure we brought the necessary things (but didn’t over pack). We loved the outdoor space and our children loved the bunk beds and loft bedroom so much they didn’t want to come home. Will absolutely request to stay again.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this cabin for the second time. This is a nice place to getaway with our family of 5 from the busyness of everyday life. We stayed 3 nights, only left the cabin once for gift shopping.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The kids loved the ping pong in the basement and the adults loved having a glass of wine on the deck and viewing the lake. The beach and fire pit were super nice as well. One minor complaint was that the neighbors were kind of loud. Other than that, it is a home run!

Summary: The lodge was warm and cozy while the snow and rain blew off the lake. We loved playing ping pong and arcade games. It was easy to hook up Spotify to the Roku so we could listen to music while playing games. The kids didn’t want to leave.
