A beautiful lakefront property on a small private lake, with magnificent views, large spacious kitchen and living areas. This cabin is located on 3 acres, with 225 feet of lake shore. The area is quiet and serene. There is also a crafting space that has 10 work stations, with office chairs for comfort. Come visit, enjoy the peace and quiet of the lake, go shopping for art and antiques, visit local wineries, downhill skiing and zipline parks are close, along with a fun outside waterpark. The Lodge sleeps 8. A must see!

Summary: On the VRBO site, the owner very much expressed how clean and sanitized the property was. It was not. Mouse droppings on the kitchen sink and in cupboards, and on one bed sheet. Nothing was dusted/wiped clean, filthy crusty potholders & table cloth, short on toilet paper. No lake amenities as "advertised", no dock. Razor blade found and almost stepped on in upstairs bedroom. Full trash can in one bathroom, coffee filter not removed and full of mold, fly infestation, kitchen was NOT well stocked, only one large stirring spoon, no soaps in the bathrooms, we had to resort to dishwashing liquid in two bathrooms, refrigerator never wiped out and full of crumbs and food residue, coffee table trays full of food crumbs and food residue and even fingernail clippings! TV upstairs in sewing room was NOT functional! Sewing room stairs and carpet was very dirty and clearly not vacuumed for a long time and we had to wipe every table because there was food crumbs and sticky pop rings. Hand towels in bathroom did not appear to be laundered. We laundered kitchen towels and the filthy potholders. I wiped off all the surfaces and swept the floors including the deck tables which looked like they hadn't been wiped off all summer and swept off the acorns so we could safely walk on it. In total fairness, I asked the owner if I could check in early and she responded instantly with "Yes". I assume she would have told me if it wasn't cleaned yet. I would like the cleaning fee refunded at minimum

Summary: This is a lovely property. It is well laid out and easily accommodated our group of 7. We enjoyed taking the boat out on the lake and playing board games in the main room. The bonus room over the garage is also quite large and can accommodate an even larger group activity. We had a great stay and would recommend this place to others.

Summary: We enjoyed the property for our combined three families. The fishing (catch and release) was great for young kids. The house was very clean and we used the canoe and kayaks. The lake was really weedy and not great for swimming, but we made the most of what we could.

Summary: We rented this for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. The property and house were even better than the pictures. The lake was clean and a wonderful temperature. The kitchen was giant and stocked with pots/pans/utensils and everything you could need for cooking. Will definitely come back again

Summary: This is a great property for a group gathering. We did some crafting and this place is perfectly set up for that. Located on a small lake, it's very scenic. I highly recommend this property for your get-together.

Summary: We stayed at Serendipity Lodge for a weekend because we traveled to the area for a family wedding. This location was relaxing and provided space for our family to be together where a hotel wouldn't have allowed.

Summary: The owners were a pleasure to rent from. Dawn was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The house was absolutely beautiful, it’s certainly big enough for me and my friends and their children to have ample space to not feel crowded. The house is right on a private lake. Keep in mind, the lake is very weedy. If you want to swim, you’d have to go out into the middle of the lake to swim. I like that they had kayaks, paddle boat, and a canoe for guests to use , which to me was a bonus! The kitchen was very well stocked with all you need for cooking. It was a fantastic stay for us! Just an hour from Minneapolis. We’ll be back! Thank you!
