Summary: Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage Inside we had everything we needed and the home was spotless. Shopping was conveniently near by .The outdoor space, lake, dock, kayaks, grassy area, deck, and woods provided us with space to play, relax and explore. Our four year old even found the perfect spot to build a fairy village!

Summary: The property is top notch. Very well stocked and clean. Second property from the end of the road so no through traffic. Remote but WiFi works well and your only 15 minutes from groceries, hardware, auto stores. Half a dozen local restaurants also within 15 minutes. Hosts are very pleasant and keep a lovely cabin. We plan on staying again in the future. Was a very relaxing week!

Summary: This is a great secluded place on a very nice pond, it’s very nice to have the kayaks to use, parking was great for having a trailer. Great place over all would love to see more of the lake with a couple more trees cut.

Summary: The communication with the homeowner was a struggle to get just a few answers we needed. Nice people but needed answers. We had no idea we needed to bring water! Luckily two of us brought cases of water but I did not. The real alarming part was that the homeowner showed up when we weren't there, moved some of our items, and left us a note inside the house to contact them. I thought this was unacceptable honestly. What if my wife had been in there sleeping to wake a stranger being inside the rental. He could have gotten shot. We all had guns, as we were hunting. Beautiful home but the communication, their expectations, and him coming in notified was definitly an issue.!!

Summary: We loved how quiet and secluded this place was while still having a very modern and comfortable feel inside. We used the kayaks a lot, and our dog loved the back yard. We saw lots of wild life and enjoyed sitting out on the porch. The ping pong table in the basement was fun too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would come back again. The hosts were very responsive and nice.

Summary: Nice, clean, well kept, homey camp for you to enjoy. Well stocked with cooking supplies, ie pans and such. Needs one more large garbage can as most families make at least a full bag almost daily. No real game fish that we could find but we enjoyed watching our grandchildren catch the red fin fish. Would recommend staying here to anyone. Be sure to visit the Abbot bakery 10 minutes down the road.

Summary: Skip and Rachael saved our family vacation! The house we were originally supposed to rent fell through at the last minute (the day of check-in) so I quickly had to find other arrangements. Skip and Rachael's house just happened to be available for the dates we needed at the last minute. I inquired the night before about checking in the next day. They responded so quickly and were very sympathetic to our situation. Their house was perfect for the needs of our party of 4 adults and 4 children. We all enjoyed our stay immensely. Skip and Rachael were very responsive to questions we had throughout our stay and Skip even made a special delivery when we asked about the DVD player. The house was very clean upon our arrival and we made great use of the outdoor space - the firepit, dock and 2 kayaks. We were also so thankful for the window air conditioners as it was SO hot during our stay. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an outdoor getaway that still provides all the comforts of home.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay, exactly the nice secluded cabin in the woods we were looking for. The kitchen worked great for cooking. The beds were quite comfortable. The dock is amazing and there were 2 great kayaks to use. Our kids loved playing by the dock and catching frogs. Rachel and Skip were very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cabin.
