Summary: There is nothing like getting your coffee and walking out to the gazebo and watching the early boats, gulls, and maybe a seal or two, if you're lucky. Kayaks are right on the deep water dock, and the most amazing waters to kayak (or SUP) on. We went around the island, and across to Ladysmith itself. This is a quiet location, about 10 minutes into Ladysmith. An easy reach to Nanaimo or Duncan if you want to go further. Lots of farms and artists around. And endless trails to hike. At low tide, you can cross over to the island if you want a little adventure. The tide is full out once a day, and only partially out on the other low tide. This makes planning expeditions much easier. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and you really can't find another waterfront location like this one.

Summary: We came here to escape the Texas heat and to enjoy the outdoors. This property gave us a great base to explore with a beautiful patio for breakfasts and dinners.

Summary: Excellent experience, I am always a little apprehensive with units attached to the owners property but Chris and Christine have this set up perfectly! Was 100 percent my own space, beautiful views and excellent hosts. 10/10. Will be back!

Summary: We had a truly lovely stay at Trails End. The location is stunning and the apartment had everything you could need for a two week stay. When not out sightseeing there is plenty to do 'at home' from swimming off the dock to wildlife watching. Chris and Christine were both helpful and friendly hosts and the Sunset cruise was a particular highlight.

Summary: Great place to explore the area! Very clean and comfortable Very comfortable bed and full kitchen area which we used. Loved the private patio where we ate breakfast daily. We had a great meal at the neighboring marina, and loved downtown Ladysmith Main Street. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Nice gardens with tons of birds around and nice views!! Thanks.
