Perfect for bird watching. Guist Creek Lake is a great kayaking and fishing lake. Patio off the main living room with patio table and chairs. Summary: We stayed here with my family, we were able to visit the bourbon trial and Louisville! I would definitely recommend this place! The house was easy to get to, plenty of parking, and the house was clean and had everything we needed and more!! Thank you for an amazing home to spend the weekend in!! We’ll be back for sure!

Summary: Some buddies and I used this as our home base for a bit of bourbon trail exploration and couldn’t have been happier. It’s secluded and quiet but also close to various distilleries and restaurants. The house was spacious and clean with plenty of room for us to hang out and get a good night’s rest. 10/10 would stay here again.

Summary: Hostess provided great communications. Well cared for property. Nice lake view. Close to marina to rent boats. Having a dock was especially helpful. Two Kayaks were also available for us at the property.

Summary: The house is perfect for visiting the bourbon trail. The house is centrally located to many of the big name distilleries. It was incredibly fun to do distillery tours during the day and fish in the afternoon. Emily is a great host!

Summary: Our stay at this home was wonderful and the perfect spot for our weekend traveling around the area to different distilleries on the bourbon trail! It was the perfect location in the middle of Lexington and Louisville which is where we went for all of our tastings. The home had all of our basic essentials that we needed for our stay and was very clean and well kept. The views were amazing and we really enjoyed having our coffee in the mornings in the sunroom with a full lake view! Would stay here again!

Summary: The clean two story house offered a very nice layout for a getaway weekend with friends. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and the water view was very peaceful. This would be a great place to rent if you like kayaking!

Summary: The home is situated on a small lake in a nice neighborhood only 30-40mins from Louisville and 60mins to Bardstown. We found the location a nice place to base our Bourbon Trail trip from and retire to in the evening. The home was spotless upon check-in, had comfortable beds, and great water pressure; it matched the listing perfectly. We did not use much of the kitchen but it appeared to have everything you would need to prepare coffee, a meal, etc. There is also a grill onsite with a small area for a bonfire.

Summary: Perfect place to stay for two days with family coming from 3 different stats. House was home base and we enjoyed the nearby farm and distillery, horse racing in Lexington, kayaking on the creek and just enjoying the house and property. I highly recommend!
