This North Country cabin is situated on Ogontz Lake and in the Ogontz Resort. You can book this property directly through the resort without the VRBO fees and see our other amenities and dining packages at www ogontzwhitemountans com (you will have to add the . as VRBO does not allow websites)
It has beautiful views and is immersed in nature. A perfect place to take the whole family, the common room is a large open space for dining and lounging. The house is very private and secluded. The fireplace and woodstove provide wonderful mountain atmosphere and warmth when desired.
There is a space to launch canoes or kayaks to the swimming area across the lake, but please note it is not the ideal place to swim right from the house property. The resort has its own swimming area and floating dock 4 min from the house. The Hiking and ATV Trails are adjacent to the house and go around the lake. Ice Skating and Ice fishing on the lake is wonderful in the winter and skiing is close by. Amazing view year round but full brilliant colors and views of the area in fall foliage season!
Long private drive to secluded house with ample parking. Check in after 3pm, check out no later than 10 am.
This house is part of a larger resort called Ogontz open May-October that is a 4 min drive down the road to the main campus. There we have a short hike to our private swimming area and floating dock, kayak and canoe rentals, plenty of hiking trails, evening activities like trivia and Smore's bonfires, a cafe and provisions store and plenty of play structures and lawn games for the kids and adults. This is all included in the rate. You may also add on meal packages in our dining facilities if desired. We also have Littleton just a 10min drive down the road which is an adorable mountain town with shops and restaurants.
